A very relaxed cruise experience as my wife pre-loaded for me many e-books and I did finish 3 books in this trip plus went for 10 nightly shows in 11 nights on this ship. Said before this ship had great shows that converted me from a show sleeper to nightly watcher, thank Norwegian!
Embarkation

A bit longer than expected in NY.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Foods are not in same grade as years ago but I see this as a trend in general in cruiseship business. Its freestyle dining has plus and minus just like Captain night may be great to some yet boring to others. The Chinese or Oriental foods received far lower rating from me as i have cruised at least 5 times with Norwegian before. Considering cruise and flight are rare industries that do not see big price jump over the decades, I do not have too much a complaint though I wish it better.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Fair, compare with some other ships like Carnival but Norwegian's guests are in general about 10 years older than Carnival's so it is fair, to me.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Shows on this ship were great to excellent, some could be in par with Broadway's and in general they earned even higher CP value from me
Children's Programs
3 out of 5
No idea, we don't have young kids ourselves and did not remember seeing many young children anyway.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Excellent, I have nothing else to say about in this column.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Quite clean is my opinion
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
The bed mattress too soft, toilet room too narrow and my wife and I both like to know how some people can move around in that tiny space. We both are in 130 - 160 lbs and felt hard to turn, tell me how the 250 - 300 lbs fellows could do and many are in that weigh class. I felt sympathy for those big brothers and sisters.
Ship tip
Looking for a relaxed cruising? going with Norwegian!
Many time to this mid-town cruise terminal to board the cruise ships, most times waiting in long line before coming to the counter for cruise ship pass.
Only walked around the terminal area and spent 2 hours surfing internet, can't tell good or bad. No open-roof bus facility except van and some buses but those bused were for already booked guests and though we could go with vans but some were already packed with passengers and we had to share with 2 others in one row since driver tried to line up more riders, 4 people across on one row in a mid-size van, did not interest me specially I could not take pictures in that situation.
Of course it is much better than most ports. We drove a rental from Miami airport to Orlando in 2 days + some hours and dropped car there for a total about $90, wonderful deal at Fox Car Rental.
Just to say that as a wide build man (5' 10", 262lbs.) I was able to move around with my wife just fine in the Family Oceanview cabin and bathroom just fine. We found both the cabin and bathroom spacious. We also found the bed to be just fine. Guess it depends on the person and not the body type when it comes to moving around the cabin and bathroom.
