Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was good, but not great, in all areas. Best specialty restaurants were Japanese (forgot name) and steak house.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Bingo was very popular with our traveling companions, although it’s not my favorite. I thought $39 was high for 3 games of bingo. There were a lot of activities for all interests, but I really enjoy just relaxing and reading. Don’t like the activities that are designed to sell you things. Liked the evening shows the best.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The final show was excellent. Also the Broadway singer (Jeri Seeger?) was wonderful, and I could have listened to her several times. Magic is ok, but gets kinda boring after a while.

Children's Programs

No kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All was excellent.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Loved the ship, had just been redone last year I think. But I would like to cruise on a newer ship next time.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
A little on the small side, compared to other cruises. Shower was good size though. Very clean.

Ship tip

Not one of the newer, huge ships with all the bells and whistles, but very nice and refurbished recently. A lot of specialty restaurants to choose from.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

3 out of 5
Left from Miami.

Cartagena, Colombia

4 out of 5
Interesting city, but was SO HOT.

Colon, Panama

4 out of 5
Ferry ride down canal was interesting but too long. Poverty in Colon was eye opening.

Puerto Limon, Costa Rica Did not visit port

Weather bad, couldn’t dock

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

3 out of 5
There isn’t much on this island - stay on the ship.

Harvest Caye, Belize

4 out of 5
Beautiful relaxing stop

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

3 out of 5
Took a Jeep safari excursion which was mildly interesting but again, there is not much to see here. Skip the excursion, just go to port shops.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Did walk off, very quick.
