Review summary

Beautiful itinerary and I would definitely go again. Quebec is such a wonderful and easy city to explore on foot. I would also love to walk around Peggy’s Cove a little more.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
My embarkation experience went very smoothly. The only thing was we were given times that we could arrive (for example 10:30-11:00) but you had to wait to board the ship until around 12. If I had known I would not have arrived until maybe a little later but we just sat and waited until we could board. Not a real big deal.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
This was my only main complaint of our trip. My friend and I waited for about 2 hours to make reservations for the specialty dining rooms and the only times they seemed to be giving out were either very early 5 or very late 9 or after. We were able to change both of those to earlier times when we just walked up to the desk at the restaurants. The waiters were a little hard to understand but the food was excellent.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I only went to one show and it was excellent.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone on board was super pleasant. We were always greeted with a smile and a hello. My room steward Alan learned my name the first day and always asked about my day and if there was anything I needed.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Beautiful ship and the update was lovely.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Clean, comfortable and roomy enough for me. It would accommodate up to four but I think that would be very tight. Two definitely comfortable and maybe a child.

Ship tip

Our cruise was the last sailing to Canada so it was a little cold and windy to spend a lot of time outside but the Spinnaker lounge was a nice place to sit and watch the scenery.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We chose the walk off on our own and it went very smoothly.

Quebec may now be one of my favorite ports.

Almost every review here about Quebec has been positive. It is starting to get my interest.
