Don't over pack. I brought a over the door shoe rack to store items and some magnet hooks to hang hats and other items on the wall. The rooms have plenty of places to store your items. The free entertainment was awesome. Bring a highlighter to plan your activities daily. Lastly have fun!

The outlet nearest the door works when you remove your key card. Otherwise no other outlets or lights work when you remove your key card. There is no outlet in the bathroom for a night light so we used that one and left the bathroom door wide open to diminish the amount of light in the room.

Cagneys Steak House was awesome! EVERYTHING we ate there was excellent! Not to be missed!

The Tropicana dining room is excellent for both food and service at dinner. Four fabulous and fun dinners there. We had a truly poor experience at Savor for breakfast...a total service mess. We never went back. Don't miss the "Burn the Floor" show...it's fabulous.

Enjoy it all!!! The Getaway has a lot to offer! Only wished they had the Jimmy Buffet Margeritaville open while we were on the cruise ship.

the tropicana restaurant was fun-- try it. there are real table cloths and napkins and the intermittent entertainment was very good.

Buffet is enough and delicious. Every meal. If you're concerned about quality of food - don't be! Buffet can get crowded but time your visit. It's worth the wait. If you can, time your excursions after 10 so you don't have to crowd the gang way with other travelers. Relax a bit.

Try all 3 dining rooms included in the price. We enjoyed them all, the entertainment in the Tropicana to the more intimate Savor/Taste. We rotated between them all. Plan your day with on board the activities, including things that have shorter hours just so you can get the full experience.

Try to stay on the ship on of the port days or get back early to enjoy the pool area and lunch without the crowds.
