The staff on this ship is the best ever. We always enjoy our time on a the Norwegian cruise ships

We had a great time despite one of our port of call cancellation and wait lines .

Disappointing! Honestly, that is the only word that describes how we felt about this nearly $8000 cruise. Not only did my mom get unbelievably sick with Covid (she’s 79), but one of our ports of call was completely cancelled, there were no suitable excursions (we didn’t even get to use our credit, as there was nothing to book), there was very little to do on the ship in between meals, the only shopping you could do was jewelry, which was uninteresting (who wants to get hounded and have sales people pressure you to buy) and the food was just passable. If it hadn’t been for the nice staff in the Haven, this trip would have been a complete failure. This was supposed to be my mom’s last hurrah. Her last big trip in her life. All she took away from it is a massive credit card debt and Covid, which is lingering like nobody’s business. Again, it was just one big disappointment!

Post covid expectations met. Staff were wonderful. Smokers and drunks not so much. Kids program disappointed many. I was just disappointed with how many children were on the sailing. Obnoxious teens not monitored by parents at night.

We won't be sailing with NCL again. My wife and I have been cruising for over 40 years and were very unhappy with this cruise. We would consider NCL to be at the bottom of our list, and we have sailed on most cruise lines numerous times in our 40+ years of cruising. We were told by family and friends not to expect much from NCL and they succeeded in delivering just that: Not much.

Go somewhere else especially if you have a family and don't do the drink package upgrade.

We had a great trip in a Haven Suite. A bit pricey, but worth it if you can afford it.

We had a great time and enjoyed the variety of parties/bars. Comedy shows, karaoke and simply socializing by the pool was amazing. No strangers zone~ everyone was super friendly.

Would not go again in the Summer, was just too hot. Getting to excurtions was unorganized and a lot of waiting in hot sun at Cozumel.

Norweigian is unlike other cruise ships. The food is very poor in main dining rooms. Small portion and low quality. Worse then any all inclusive I’ve been to. They nickel and dime you for everything. Nothing good comes with the cost of cruise. Getting off and on at ports were insane. We had no time to do anything and missed excursions. It was crazy. By the time we got to their private island there was nothing left! We paid for umbrellas and got none and no refund. It was a mess. We had no shade in that hot sun. I felt so sick from the sun with no break. It was awful. They sent us around the whole island for two hrs looking for umbrellas! I had 30 min in the ocean and no time to eat. It was the worst experience on a vaca ever.

A good getaway, beautiful ship, but probably not one that I would do again only because the activities are all slated for a younger cruiser. A great ship for families and young couples

Internet service was horrible even with the highest package. They had 1 bartenders at the Adults only Area H2O during the day. We had to wait 45 minutes for a drink each time. Food was awful worst I ever had on a cruise.

Haven aft cabin was amazing. Transatlantic you want to be port side for the sun.

After our delayed flights we ended up getting into Copenhagen at 1:00AM on the 14th instead of the planned 12th. Terry got sick during the cruise and went to the Medical center. The center is very impressive. When she developed a cough she was confined to the cabin for 2 days even though she was COVID tested 4 times on the ship. The Ship had a security guard escort her to our room and made sure she stayed there. The hot tub next to our room wasn't emptied during 2 days of storms damaging our room with water. The ship wouldn't move us to a decent room even thou there were only 700 passengers. Other than these events the cruise was great.

I love sea days and this voyage from Copenhagen to FL, with a stop in the Azores, was very relaxing and a great opportunity to get to know the ship. Staff were just fantastic and friendly. Getaway is a very nice ship, the special dining at Cagney and Ocean Blue were fabulous dining experiences.

Norwegian Getaway ship is clean, comfortable, well designed, beautiful.The constant cleaning of the ship, rooms, handrail, kitchens, were top notch. Wash basins and constant reminders to wash hands, people with disinfectant sprays on 15th floor. I was asked to pay additional money for bowling ,it makes me sad. Ping pong tables and basketball court were good addition for activities. Fitness was good and clean. Bad SPA customer service experience. Do not expect anything complementary.

This was an excellent experience and a great way to see Northern Europe. All our excursions were great and our guides were wonderful.

Overall experience was wonderful, friendly staff, enjoyable shows, great food. Friendly cruise ship staff and always willing to help

The NCL Getaway is a very large ship. It is well maintained and clean. At the time of our sailing it was only about 25% capacity. This was a good thing as the pool deck was not open because of the cold weather. Had the ship been full it would have been very crowded without the pool deck. As it was there were never any lines. The staff was exceptional, friendly, helpful, and professional. Captain Gkokas was the most friendly and involved Captain I have ever had. He added much to the trip. I love NCL!!!

It was great to be back at sea. The NCL staff made us very welcome on board, boarding was a disaster. Food and entertainment was up to snuff but excursions were a disappointment.
