After sailing NCL now several times will be re-evaluating this experience and probably choosing elsewhere, unless they can modify their schedules and improve rooms.

Way too long a process.

Food and dining was perfect
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Very average at best. But we were not necessarily looking to that many. Would have liked other options like informative lectures (other than sales lectures for items on board), also other activities, ie. Bridge tournaments, golf nets or simulators, etc,
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Would like more general shows, The ones we did attend were wonderful, "millionaire quartet was great, comedy was average at best and no real theater shows as has been on other ships.

Way to small no storage space this room was designated as 4 person family room with no drawer space 3 shelves and a extremely small balcony. Compared to other ships was undersized
All stays were ridiculous. get in way too early (nothing really open) then leave early like 12 or 2 PM. Stupid times. I have cruised over 30 times and never had a ship leave before 5. Really want to visit and do things at a port and to have 4 to 5 hours AT BEST in the early morning only is a waste. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Other ships at same time and same ports stayed later no reason we have leave by 12 to 1 PM or even 2. We were always the first to leave every port. STUPID. They even shortened 2 ports from the advertised times stating due to WHALES. What a crook of BS. Other ships stayed.
This was the worst . In a 7AM leave by 12.00 . No stores even open till 9#0 to 10:00, As for going to beaches not enough time. Even excursions stated this was not goos.
We like NCL and the Getaway. I agree with you that lecturers would be great. We have enjoyed them on other cruise lines.
Ncl does do a great job in Europe. They maximize port time and have fewer sea days.
Thanks for sharing. Regarding port times, I checked your scheduled itinerary online. Bermuda was 6-1/2 hours. All others were from 7 to 13 hours which doesn't sound short to me. Why did the cruise line shorten the actual port times or didn't you check what they really were and wanted longer?
