14 Night Eastern Mediterranean (Venice Roundtrip)
Sail Date: June 12, 2010
Ship: Norwegian Gem
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Couple

The Norwegian Gem was a nice ship. We were a bit disappointed with the number of restaurants that required a 15 to 25 dollar service charge per person to eat. There were 5 of these and two main dining rooms for those not willing to pay again for their lunch or dinner. The entertainment was some of the best I have seen on cruise ships and the cruise director was amazing in how he drew all the passengers into doing activities.

Pros: The variety of ports was wonderful.

Cons: The confusion on the day of embarking for the new passengers.
