All in all, this was the vacation of a lifetime. If you can afford the upgrade to The Haven, I highly recommend it. It would not have been the same vacation if we had not upgraded.

Our cabin steward Morgan was great! Did not like that the so called free style was not free style. We tried to book reservations on Tuesday and everything was booked for entire week. Could not get reservations for dinner show, yet we were told by others in our group that there were empty tables. I think other people booked early and then didn't go. You need a better way to reserve spots. Not enough waiters for drinks. We plan on giving Norwegian another try.

Bermuda is an amazing vacation destination. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT spoil your vacation with this ship! It is crowded, extremely hard to navigate. If you can not walk up and down the stairs, then do not get on this ship! There are only 2 groups of elevators, one mid ship, and one aft. This causes them to be very overcrowded all the time. Look for a ship with 3 elevators. There are no good decks to see the ocean, so don't expect it unless you book a balcony. Pay for the best room you can get, besides for the shows, there is no were else on this ship to be besides for in the room. Better yet, just buy a different ship!

I am mostly writing to WARN people about the cash back bonus offered by . You have to jump through a lot of hoops and it is specifically designed so that you forget to jump through the hoops EXACTLY as they say! And then they purposely DO NOT send you a reminder email to help you remember to sign up during the very SMALL window of time. For instance, I booked the cruise in February, but you can't sign up for the cash back until 21 days before your cruise and they do not remind you of this! It just feels deceptive when my travel agent who is suppose to be my advocate, doesn't really help me get the best out of my cruise. PLEASE set up your own reminder!! I have noticed other travel companies offer cash back benefits so ask ahead on what is required and how they go about helping you get these bonuses they use to lure you in.

Great vacation on a family friendly ship! Awesome staff!

Our experience was a wonderful one. From the moment we checked in at the terminal in NY, the associate was very friendly and helpful all the way to the end when we came back, when we disembarked back in NY, the staff was fantastic. The entertainment director was great, our cabin steward Arnold was very friendly and accommodating, the morning "coffee guy" it really brighten our morning, we looked forward to see him every day, the girls offering the bake goods were great too. We for sure will recommend this experience to our friends.

I will say that almost everyone I spoke to on this cruise who has cruised NCL before has agreed to never take this ship again. It didn't live up tot the great customer service that the other ships have given us in the past. If you are traveling with adult children under 21 good luck! We have a family of 3 boys who are 18, 18 and 19. My oldest had his girlfriend with and she is 20. When we booked we were told that NCL policy has changed and you have to have an adult (21 or older for NCL) in a room with each child(under 21). In our case we didn't want to be cramped and my kids are adults in our eyes and wanted 3 cabins. One for my oldes and his girlfriend, one for my twins and one for my wife and I. They had us book it so that my oldes was in with me, his gf in with my wife and the twins were in a room that had an adjoining door to my cabin.

Great trip and overall experience on the trip. The crew and staff were the best as well as the food. The port of call was excellent with one of the best islands ever visited

The cruise was excellent. We all enjoyed ourselves. Great destination, beautiful beaches. We could have been in Bermuda for 4 days if possible and less time on the ship.

Had a great time. Ship is huge and very noisy at times. Hard surfaces accentuate sounds of voices, scraping chairs, etc. Overall however, once you acclimate, the Escape is a fun experience

Best cruise we've ever taken. We had no idea Bermuda is so beautiful!

Both ships have a lot to offer but I feel the Anthem was a better choice because of the food, the beautiful adult area, and the cost of the tours being more reasonable.

Enjoyed the amenities of the ship and the gorgeous island of Bermuda. One suggestion is to enclose the casino why as a no smoker should I have to breath in smoke.

Boat has so much to keep you busy. Bermuda is absolutely beautiful! We loved this vacation!

THE FOOD HAS GONE WAY DOWN HILL , THE CHOICES ARE FEW AND THE STYLE IS ALL THE SAME..THE MENU HAS BEEN DEPLETED AND THE FOOD IS NOT THE SAME..POOR QUALITY AND IMPORTED FROM A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY AND IT TASTE IT..VERY POOR INDEED TRY SOME USA FOOD PURCHASES..

I'm a little disappointed that more and more things are becoming fee extra. Two of the shows on the ship were extra. The burger bar is a fee extra Margaritaville. I was also surprised that none of the 3 dining rooms were available for lunch. That was only available at the buffet or O'Sheehan's. Had to walk a long way to get something to eat in the afternoon. Nothing available at the pool area except hot dogs a couple of times.

This was my husbands first cruise & my 2nd (1st on RC). We thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The employees clearly work harder than anyone in the world to make your exeperince great. We were able to secure VIBE passes (the private area on the 19th deck for 18 & older only) & loved that area, however, the hot tub was not bubbling so more like a bath. I saw previous Escape reviews listing the same thing so I am not sure why it hasn't been fixed yet? Especially when you pay an additional $100 pp for the pass. Also could use some type of music up there-almost too quiet & you can hear every conversation going on. We seemed to recieve some type of "treat' in our room most evenings-from chocolate covered strawberries to a bottle of wine one night...a very nice touch! The Howl at the Moon dueling pianos show is not to be missed! Very talented performers and an interactive experience. The only other thing that was bothersome was the passengers walking around the common areas barefoot...we even witnessed people in the buffet barefoot...gross! This is of no fault of Norweigan but I wish they were told to put shoes on for health reasons...also several people eating right at the buffet line..again not Norweigan's fault. We will definately cruise Norweigan again

Been on many NCL ships the Escape being the largest. Be prepared to do a lot of walking. The food is located inside the ship at the buffet. There is no outside food available around the pool only hotdogs. More chairs (not lounges) are needed around the adult area. Chairs are easier to get out of and don't hurt your back. The pool was designed not with seniors in mind. No stairs to get in (like on Gem) only a ladder and is difficult for a senior to lift themselves out of the water. Sometimes bigger is not always better.
