Transvestite DRAG SHOW Priscilla, was tastelessly in-your-face and we joined others in walking out within 15 minutes. The gay-ship's cruise director salted his lifestyle, without explicit warning, into most entertainment. R-rated was expected -- this was DISGUSTING. Most venue singers were mediocre, so we enjoyed dancing. One night we did an amazing circus dinner show. Most exciting was "Burn the Floor" extreme ballroom dance troupe. Wow! Hot dancers. Ridiculous gay comedy prelude. Sound systems unintelligible but LOUD. Get some head mikes and quality speakers. Don't blast the same noise throughout deck 15; segment music styles. Queues at Canaveral getting on and off ship took hours evidencing poor processes, planning, and adaptation, with pointless snaking queues dragging luggage at immigration exit. But we we were together having fun. Service in restaurants is slow whereas most ships assign teams, so we enjoyed long conversations. Cabin steward excellent. Missing the Great Stirrup Cay stop-off afforded passengers more time for drinking & gambling. No loss to NCL revenues. Most stops controlled by NCL without genuine flavor of the visited country, so we took fun independent side tours like Shaw Park in Jamaica.

Really enjoyed this cruise. We were on board about 10 minutes and wasn't there a rocket launch from Kennedy Space Center. Very nice ship and the employees were great. Had a good time in the casino. The entertainers worked hard. I'm not a real big fan of the huge ships but I would go o this one again.

From the boarding process to have to retrieve my own bag after 7 1/2 hours of being on board, to terrible food and the food not staying in we were both in the bathrooms frequently..I have heard that other Norwegian ships are much better than the EPIC in many ways and that was from frequent cruisers..Epic is at the bottom of our list..Our rating on this ship is a 2 star not a 3.1

We won't be going back to Norwegian Cruise Lines. We will be trying Royal Caribbean instead.

A good sampling of Western Caribbean. The ship seemed to be understaffed and some of the staff appeared to be a little stressed. But there are always stars that stand out above the rest. My stars were Barbra at Next Cruise desk, Aris and team at Shanghai Restaurant and Lea at the Taste Restaurant.

No wifi like other cruise lines offer, not enough selection on TV, one movie channel with mostly old movies, food was good in the beginning but declined in the end had to send things back in specialty restaurant and Taste restaurant. Got wrong explanations and sizes about the food from the menu in the Bistro and steakhouse restaurant. Hard to get around the ship. Pools are to few and to small for the size of the ship. Light in the room was to dark. I can go on but brought up the biggest problems. We will not cruse with your company again.

Staff was not friendly at all. Never smiled except the women workers. No manners. long wait times for drinks. Even with extra tipping for. Any kind of extra entertainment you wanted to participate in cost extra. Front desk never answered phone. Was closed in the middle of the night. Didn't meet our steward tell day 3. If the service and staff were better they would have got 5 stars. But you could just tell the workers did not want to be there. We heard so many people complain about this and that and said it nothing like this on other cruise lines. That they will never be back with Norwegian. I am willing to give them one more chance since this was my first cruise but my wife works in the restaurant/bar business and said the staff were horrible and had no communication or people skills. Very rude. Also alotdidnt understand English the greatest.

We visited the beach at each port which was truly relaxing. The ship was great. Food was wonderful at all of the restaurants. Unfortunately, disembarkation was an awful experience. NCL was so eager to get everyone off the ship that they kept calling groups even though there was nowhere to go. There was such a backup in the terminal. It took 2 hours to get through customs.

We enjoyed the cruise very much. Epic is the cleanest ship I’ve ever been on. Norwegian is my favorite cruise line.The Epic is fabulous but may have been a little too big for me because of number of passengers.

Two of the three of us got food poisoning from the ship. The third, Pauline, was run into by a ship's officer and spent hours in the medical facility with X-rays, examinations, etc. She was allowed to resume activities, but had headaches, sore back and neck, dizziness, and could only semi-function for the last two days of the cruise. Nicholas was in bed for 2 1/2 days with chills, fever, vomiting, etc., until Cipro got him on his feet. We hated the ports.

Crowded, noisy and not very relaxing experience. Great entertainment when we got to see a show but there was often no availability. Poorly designed ship with the best space given to Haven guests. Basically sullen crew members, with a few exceptions. Tendering in. 2 ports, with reservations recommended or long waits to tender without a reseravation. Cabin had limited bathroom privacy, was small so that there was no spot to eat a room service breakfast! Balcony was spacious but the table was tiny and it was often too sunny to sit on the balcony. I will NEVER take another cruise on the EPIC. As a veteran cruiser I found this ship to be generally unpleasant, aside from great entertainment. Food was inconsistent and by the lay morning/ disembarkation day, I came down with a stomach virus. I couldn’t wait to get off the Epic!

Overall I was satisfied with we received for the price we paid and yes I will return, however, will book earlier.

We like NCL and the restaurant options. However we would not go on a holiday week again; the ship was maxed out with over 4000 passengers. The staff and crew were great and the schedule was right on time.

Ship was very understaffed so service was poor. Took 10-20 minutes to get a drink from a bar (any kind of drink). Average of 2 1/2 hours for dinner - unacceptable. Shows were lacking.

Experienced cruisers. Enjoyed our vacation .Ship was ok for us BUT left a LOT to be desired . Was going to book Alaska on the Bliss but didn't .

Our party was a group of 6 adults, trying Norwegian for the first time. There were definitely areas where the ship exceeded our expectations, such as entertainment. However, we were lucky/fortunate to have made early reservations for the shows, since there is limited space. The amount of reservation-making and pre-planning that we incurred was not my definition of 'Freestyle Cruising."

This was my 30th cruise with NCL. I would not come back if I did not like the cruise line. Nice to see staff members again and again. In some cases, many employees have almost become like family. This cruise, however, was very disappointing because of the accommodation.

There was attitude from staff about the Ultimate dining package and any “perks“ included as promos. When brought to the attention of guest services the same attitude prevailed. “How can you complain about something that was free?“ Well, 250 min of Internet I didn’t get and the inconvenience that created, and the constant Ultimate dining confusion vs Latitudes perks became irritating and reached insulting when told, “well, it was free.” I did not board the Epic for free. Perks, both Latitudes and purchased (for free?) seem to attract a bit of condescension on board.

Loved this itinerary with changing back to US time gradually and going to the Caribbean before Port Canaveral. Will try to do any Haven on NCL we can!!
