Review summary
Transvestite DRAG SHOW Priscilla, was tastelessly in-your-face and we joined others in walking out within 15 minutes. The gay-ship's cruise director salted his lifestyle, without explicit warning, into most entertainment. R-rated was expected -- this was DISGUSTING. Most venue singers were mediocre, so we enjoyed dancing. One night we did an amazing circus dinner show. Most exciting was "Burn the Floor" extreme ballroom dance troupe. Wow! Hot dancers. Ridiculous gay comedy prelude. Sound systems unintelligible but LOUD. Get some head mikes and quality speakers. Don't blast the same noise throughout deck 15; segment music styles. Queues at Canaveral getting on and off ship took hours evidencing poor processes, planning, and adaptation, with pointless snaking queues dragging luggage at immigration exit. But we we were together having fun. Service in restaurants is slow whereas most ships assign teams, so we enjoyed long conversations. Cabin steward excellent. Missing the Great Stirrup Cay stop-off afforded passengers more time for drinking & gambling. No loss to NCL revenues. Most stops controlled by NCL without genuine flavor of the visited country, so we took fun independent side tours like Shaw Park in Jamaica.Embarkation
