Overall....great cruise experience. Chaotic travel experience if you are using local transportation at the train stations! Many of our excursions were by the usage of public transportation. We Saved more money that way; therfore, the leave ship early to avoid crowd!
Advice: consider using AI to plot out your excursion itinerary! Be specific on points of interest you would like to visit ; how long you want to be away from the ship; and whether you prefer using public transportation. I found AI to be VERY helpful in planning my trip. I saved HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS by NOT using the ships excursions vs planning my own excursions.
Consider purchasing an eSIM card for your phone. You will avoid expensive roaming charges.

You are tendered from ship to Santorini. You must get a "number" the night before porting in Santorini in order to board the ender. Hint: Get your number EARLY on Monday or early Tuesday or u will be waiting an hour or more to get on a tender. In Santorin, be prepared to wait 1-2 hours to get on the cable car to go up into Santorini.
The port doesn't allow you to walk into the city so you must take a shuttle. Shuttle buses were provide...BUT AT A COST. Long lines to wait for the shuttle! Imagine that: the port holds you captive as everyone who wants/needs to go into the city to catch the train to Florence or Pisa had to pay 5 Euros/person to catch the shuttle, AFTER you waited in line for about 1 hour. Plan to leave ship early to have enough time to go to Florence and Pisa if you are doing public transportation. Train ride from Florence back to Livorno was about 1.5 hours. Train ride from Livorno to Pisa was about .5 hours.
Norwegian process to get a colored tag which corresponds to time you can disembark from the ship. If you have to catch a flight, I recommend disembarking early and pay for Shuttle service to FCO ( $75); otherwise the disembarkation process from the ship to the train station in Civitaccheia was chaotic. It took us about 3 hours from ship to train!!!! Long lines! Cost to catch shuttle ( Green bus) from ship to train station was 6 Euros per person. Agai
