the food in the main dining room as marginal at best, the variety was poor, the quality was just ok, first cruise i was on where the Buffet food was better than the main dining room.

Thank you for your real-time update of this senior ship. While I have never eaten at the Garder Cafe (on any NCL ship) as it is often over crowded and noisy. I'm a obsevation deck, The Local and Specialty Dining (Le Bistro is the Best) kind of gal. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed you meals there. I cruise out of Italy next week. Was there a White or GLOW party on you ship?
