Over all this is a great cruise and well worth the cost. I will recommend this cruise to other but warn them about the last two ports and help them plan better.

Alaska was AMAZING!! Literally breathtaking! Definitely going back but on a longer cruise. We felt that there just wasn’t enough time in the ports. Would definitely try a different ship.

Good cruise with excellent staff. Beautiful ship and services. Terrible crowd management which took away from the experience.

Great cruise, Alaska is a beautiful places to visit. This was 1 of our bucket list trips, glad we were able to do it.

Nice ship nice cruise. Since it was Seattle to Seattle a little shorter time in some ports compared to a north or southbound. Mega ship so can’t get Ketchikan, have to dock at Ward cove and take a 7 mile ride.Disembarkation was a complete nightmare.

15 years ago one of us had an excellent experience on NCL to Alaska. One of us had never been on a cruise. We decided to take this short, 4-night cruise, to decide whether cruising was something we'd consider for future vacations. NCL of 15 years ago bears no resemblance to NCL today. Thank you NCL for confirming our preference for land based, independent vacations where we are not on a corporation's schedule, telling us that we must enjoy offerings of limited interest to us, and leave with the opinion that dining on a cruise is somehow unique and superior to anything we can find on land for a lot less money. This cruise was at half the capacity of the ship. Can't imagine how miserable the experience would have been with twice as many passengers.

Just okay. Was looking forward to my family’s cruise but then there were certain things that did not make sense and was unable to some activities due to limited times.

It's sad but the Guest Services interaction totally ruined my first cruise experience. Anything we went to them with was deferred to another party on the ship or ignored completely.

Id not do it again, nor would I recommend this cruise. I love the all day at sea because I love the water, lots of sea life to see, but the ship is not great for entertainment.

The experience of going through the Panama Canal is awe inspiring. The Encore was a disappointment as it is too big and the staff hasn't figured out how to manage the number of passengers in a good way. Lots of sickness onboard during the last five days and patients were taken off the ship at every port. Make sure you buy supplemental insurance as the med center considers itself an emergency room and charges accordingly.

Overall the cruise was fun. We would have had a better experience if we didn't have 4 people from our group of 6 get Covid. We all wore masks and washed our hand consistently. The only reason my wife and I didn't get Covid was because we still had immunity from having Covid in late February. NCL needs to put better protocols in place to insure their passengers health. I know passengers from certain US States don't believe in Covid, but their ignorance should not be to our detriment. The worst part of the experience was the bus ride from the Port of LA to LAX. The gentleman siting across from us, had full blown Covid and did nothing to protect us. He as coughing, spitting, hacking and blowing his nose for the whole bus ride. REALLY?

Very disappointed with service the day we got of ship. Otherwise cruise was great!

NCL needs to work on the efficiency of the dining rooms. Service too slow.

We came away from this cruise finding NCL our least favorite cruise line to date. Communication and logistics on this ship were quite poor. This ship was not nearly as good at moving people as the other cruise lines we have sailed. The sound system on the ship was horrible. At multiple locations on board we were not able to hear or understand the announcements. Right now we would say we are not likely to book an NCL cruise again.

There were absolutely too many people for the popular venues!

Overall, we had a great time. NCL does a great job. We wanted to relax and not do too much and we did. You can do as much or as little as you want to do. My only complaint was the pool areas, while they post don't hold chairs and they will remove your items, they never do. I think if they would follow their policy and make people realize it will happen, it would reduce all of the empty chairs while others are walking around looking for them.

We had great weather on the cruise, the food is terrific, the staff work hard to make sure everyone is enjoying. In the future, I would stay away from Spring Break weeks due to the amount of kids on the ship.

Great way to celebrate 40 th anniversary! Fun, relaxing, great food. So much to do! We will cruise again with NCL. Net people from every where!

I loved the ship and overall it was great. We were definitely disappointed at times as the staff didn’t match our previous NCL experiences.

The overall cruise was amazing. We enjoyed the variety of entertainment that was onboard the NCL Encore. We enjoyed the excursions that we participated in at the ports of call. I would repeate this cruise.
