There were absolutely too many people for the popular venues!

Embarkation

longer than expected since we had to reserve a time but acceptable.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main dining in the Manhattan Room was less than desirable; service was always very slow. Service in the Taste and Savor rooms was great. The food was just OK and menu was basically the same all 7-days with minor changes. The Garden Café buffet offered a variety of food choices and was always very good. The complimentary drinks were less than desired, watered-down lemon-aid and unsweet-tea.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Was unable to participate in the activities of my choice because we could NOT obtain a reservation (ie. the theatrical play, speedway). The adult pool was always over-crowded during prime time.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Music on level 16 was always entertaining and enjoyable. Karaoke was enjoyable also.

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
All the staff were very helpful & very cordial except 1 lady at quest services and 1 bartender at the bar on level-16. Those 2 people were indifferent and uninterested providing service. Service in the Manhattan Room was less than desirable; service was always very slow.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship's layout & design OK but larger common areas were needed to accommodate thousands of people. Yes, common areas were clean & maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The rooms were extremely small but clean.

Ship tip

Make your on-board activity reservations as soon as you board the ship. Be prepared to spend a large amount of extra money if you want to enjoy a great experience on-board ship. Many on-board activities (especially for teenagers & older kids) required reservations and extra charges. Almost everything on-board required a reservation and there were literally NO reservations available for the most popular on board activities.

The tender process was laborious and poorly organized. What's the purpose of reserving a tender time if you must stand in a never ending line with thousands of people for 30+ minutes? If this was an example of how the crew would handle an emergency evacuation, the majority of people would have perished. I heard several people expressing their disappointment with the tender process.
