Go to the Blue Lagoon for breakfast or for a drink and/or snack - no long lines and very pleasant. Open 24 hrs. per day!

Hit Cagney's Steakhouse for birthday dinner. The entire restaurant staff catered to our party of 10. Best food on the ship, by far!!!

GREAT SPA

Be sure to choose the Striploin steak dinner in the main dining room. It's fabulous.

When cruising toward the end of the fall, take advantage of the SPA package. It was great being able to swim, relax quietly, use the hot tubs, steam room and sauna on some of the colder, cloudier days. Only 80 or so packages sold so never crowded. Take advantage first day aboard.

Cagney's is a nice perk for the suites customers to have breakfast and lunch in. The hot tub up on deck 13 is a good place to sit at without all the commotion of the pool area.

Up early is the ticket. Up late is nearly as good.

If you want to sun deckside, you have to have your chair by 8am on Sea Days!

Book your excursions early, the popular ones sell out very quickly. Reservations are helpful if your set on a specific dining time, but if you don't the wait isn't long and they'll give you a coupon for a glass of bubbly.

If you have at least 12 people, better make reservations at all dining locations or prepare for a wait. I understand the idea since we all wanted to sit at least close to each other. Just a heads up

Consider a balcony stateroom on your next cruise. It is worth the few extra dollars.

Reservations will definitely save you time re: dining

The chocolate croissants were amazing. :)

The garden café (buffet style) was exceptional, many times we choose to eat there instead of the dinning room due to the menu.
ebmorrison2001
There were people dressed both casual and formally in the evening. You can really do your own thing.

Deck 11 does get noise from the buffet directly above, if you book it, bring earplugs, we put them in at night and slept like babies. Room was great, so it was no big deal.

The behind the scenes tour on the Norwegian Dawn was well worth the time and money.

Don't waste your money on the many (great) restaurants because the food in the dining rooms, buffet and pool side is great!

Go to as many shows as you can. They are great!

We stayed in cabin 11056 on Deck 11 (mid-ship, very quiet)
