Overall, not our favorite ship. The overall decor on dawn isn’t as nice as other ships. Plain and simple decor. No wow factor anywhere. Very clean though throughout. Not enough comfy seating around ship along hallways, atrium, etc. Not enough nice lounges. Gatsby wasn’t small. bliss, seating was low and hard, not comfortable at all. Buffet was so disappointing. Wine bar was very nice and we went there every evening. Choices were limited and food was very mediocre at best. Crew and staff outstanding almost everywhere. Beds were very hard and hurt my back. Liked that there weren’t formal nights and the drink package was nice except it didn’t include water. Water was very expensive to purchase.

Overall it was a great cruise. We can always manage to have a fun time. My only issues were with the tendering when the itinerary when the specifically stated "dockside". I was really looking forward to Harvest Caye, what a disappointment.

I have been on other cruises that was more enjoyable !!!, very noisy at night from cruise personnel, not other cruisers!!

My past cruise experiences were better than this NCL trip to the western Caribbean. I would choose a different cruise line next time for a better ship layout, more formal dining experience, and better shore excursion.

Great entertainment, the food & drinks were great. The staff outstanding. The ports were all great except Honduras.

Been on many cruises, this being the worst, as far as service. Many veteran cruisers, I talked to on board, felt the exact same way! Norwegian has never been my favorite cruise line and I thought I’d give it one more try, never again! There is a reason that celebrity, RCC, Princess...cost more, it’s worth it!

Dont think we will be going on NCL for a long time maybe ever. Just to many problems for me to list. Ships are just to noisy some bars are open a few hours long walks to ports

The layout on the ship was such that you had to walk through restaurants and smoky areas to get from one side to the other. That was the only real downside.

I always have a great time on vacation - and this was no exception. In general I feel that cruising and especially cruising on NCL is a great Value. It may be worth mentioning - that we also had our mothers join us - and that worked out well - cruising as everyone can choose to cruise at their own speed. Quality and Price both meet our needs and it's easy to book. This cruise offered some exceptional ports of call that we don't often get to and 2 that we had never visited before - so that was the primary reason for picking this particular cruise. We enjoy the beverage package on board and the ship and dining options just as much. The price had gone up since our first look so we ended up down grading our room from OV to interior and doing that we still got everything we needed and stayed within our budget. For us the room is not that important, and we get some of the best sleep in an interior room. With some cut backs on NCL (like no towel animals and a few other small things); I'm happy to say the staff was not one and found the bar staff to be better and in general thought it was faster service that previous cruises. We already have our next cruise booked. Cheers & Happy Sailing.

A nice time with visits to places we had never been to. In the Caribbean there is not much to see/do except water sports and ziplining. Limited historic sites (unlike Europe) but we tried to see which ones we could. Many of the excursions offered by your tour company were sketchy at best, and seemed second rate in relationship to the ones offered by the cruise company. You may want to go on some of these tours to weed out bad ones.

We had a really great time and enjoyed everything except for the former police officer whom we found offensive. The cruise director, Jodie and her assistant, Jojo were great! We loved the evening activities in the Bliss Lounge. I couldn't find anywhere else to write this last part, so I'm adding it here. We felt that communications could have been improved. What happened in Puerto Rico? The pool was closed and drained on what was probably the hottest day. Some explanation would have been helpful. Also, why, after Puerto Rico, did the self serve buffet change? We were no longer able to serve ourselves? Was it because of the Corona virus? Rumours were really spreading so it would have been helpful to have an explanation for that as well. At one point our toilet didn't flush, but when we called we were told that they already knew and were working on it. Again, it would have been nice to be informed.

Good cruise overall, but was disappointed in the food. Osheehans and Bamboo maintained some of the best and most consistent food and snacks. Main Dining and Specialty Restaurants DISSAPOINTING! No prime rib, lobster and shrimp!!! Meat in dining rooms was mostly tough overcooked beef. Specialty restaurants were equally disappointing.!! Cagneys- "slow cooker prime rib", was coated with a rub and grilled. Gratin potatoes were cold and uncooked! Lol Logos- food was bland!!!! What?? No salsa or hot sauce!!!! Margarita was good. Not what I expect from South American food. Moderno- skewered meat was mediocre, though the filet was good. The salad bar was not replenished, the The serving of mashed potatoes, rice, mushrooms..etc. placed on table was cold and tasteless.!!!I Most of Garden Cafe meats for lunch and dinner were of ground meat. Meatballs, lasagna...meatloaf..... Main dining......more!!! Of particular bad offerings...Stoganoff!!!! Horrible,!! Three people at our table ordered it... No one ate it! Cream soups bad! Final night I ordered chicken picatta... It came out nicely browned with sauce. Cut into it, was rubbery and cool....bad texture!!! Either it had been microwaved or frozen.. Ate the side dishes, cut it up and did not want to embarrass the hard working servers.!!! NCL definitely needs to do some quality control on the foods and prep!!!!!!!!!! Taste! Temp! Quality!

Thoroughly enjoyable cruise. The Dawn is a reasonably-sized that makes getting around the ship easy. The entertainment and staff are exceptional. We particularly enjoyed the itinerary on this cruise. Some parts of the ship are showing their age and need to be updated, particularly seating in general areas.

Loved the relaxing length of the cruise, have found that a 7 day (which is actually 5 day as you really cannot count embarkation/disembarkation days) is just not long enough for us. On a smaller ship, it is nice that you do not have to make reservations for the entertainment and fight for a seat by the pool (outside).

Was quite disappointed about the cruise. We had a Fantastic Time because it was Our Honeymoon and we made it to be Fantastic.

Great time - NCL has certainly dropped the ball in certain areas. I would be pleased to speak with anyone at NCL that would like to talk to me. I can't wait for my next cruise on NCL!!

We love Norwegian cruise ships, especially the smaller ship size. Prefer Norwegian over others. Our Suite made the trip particularly enjoyable.

We enjoyed the trip. A bit calmer seas would have been nice but we managed that just fine. Everyone was helpful when we needed it and all went well.

It was the cruise of a lifetime. The suite was magnificent and much more than expected. The embarkation process was the best we have ever experienced. From time of arrival to sitting comfortably in our suite in less than an hour. The staff was friendly and genuinely cared about every part of our vacation experience. Gilbert was amazing at anticipating our needs and ensuring our vacation was truly exceptional. The food and entertainment were both excellent. We have tried many cruise lines and Norwegian is and will continue to be our cruise line of choice.

This was our 6th cruise. Very disappointed in the things to do on the ship and the shows. The restaurant and bar service was not real good. I wandered if it was a training ship. I would recommend another Norwegian ship.
