Review summary

In all we had a great time on this cruise. We probably would not take it again as we stopped every day and this was a little too much for we old guys.

Embarkation

Since we upgraded our cabin we were given priority boarding and basically walked right on board.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Beverage package is worth the dollars. If you have ever cruised before and did not have a package when that bill came it was quite a shock. We ate at every restaurant on the Dawn and I do not believe we had a bad meal.

Cagney's Steakhouse

Every time we take an NCL cruise we eat at least once in Cagneys. Great food and service. Even if you don't have a meal plan the prices are not too bad.. go and enjoy.

Gatsby's Champagne Bar

Drank here but mostly for the music. The singers here are all very good.

Aqua Main Dining Room

Meals are consistent and what we liked about this versus the Aqua restaurant we did not feel as rushed here as we did at Aqua. The menu in both was the same.

Went to two shows and enjoyed them both. We especially enjoyed the singers in the smaller bars.

Service and Staff

With the exception of the service desk, the rest of the staff is fantastic. This is our 3rd NCL cruise and find the staff is consistently outstanding. The service desk needs work. Poor communication was prevalent on all three cruises as well as attitudes that seem like they do not have time for us.

Ship Quality

Always clean and the staff is always cleaning it. We found it easy to navigate the ship which says the design is great.

Cabin / Stateroom

The suite was large with plenty of places to put stuff. The balcony was extra large. The bed was a real bed instead of two singles pushed together.
