I would recommend spending a little more money and taking another cruise line. Even loyal NCL were not impressed with the service or the ship.

Make your reservations for tenders (if you will be going to the private island) , shows and dining as soon as you book your cruise. Get up early and enjoy the peace and quite!

Make sure you make your reservations to the shows early, or you won't get to see them. Bring a cushion with you for the seating in the big theater. Very uncomfortable.

Be sure to see the shows offered. Rock of Ages, jungle fantasy and Burn the floor. All very good. Specialty dining venues were exceptional. If you dine in the Manhattan Room, ask for a table in James's area, he'll make your dining experience truly enjoyable.

Maltings Bar is the bar you want to go to that is never overcrowded. The buffet is better than waiting to be seated or eat at the Manhattan Room, Taste or Savor.

Don't sign up for the cruise unless you get an internet amenity included in the price. It felt like a real ripoff to have to pay $29 per day for internet. In addition to the poor impression we were greatly inconvenienced to be without internet for the duration! This is a loyalty breaker!

Very limited vegetarian options at the specialty restaurants but plenty of options in the main dining room and buffet (in case you are considering a specialty dining package--this is important to know).

This example that you used is a joke because you can't be served at the bar, you have to sit at a table. They're also the bar that over charged me for the drink of the day and never made it right. My tip, don't do it!

Bring magnets clips to hang on cabin walls, hang daily itineraries, bathing suits etc. Pack less than what you think. Your in bathing suit most of time. Bring clothspins to hang wet clothes in shower. I recommend wait to book excursions ck the weather first. Book a local hotel day pass in port.

O'sheehans for breakfast is a must, and reserve your dining times and shows. I know NCL is all about freestyle, but I'm going to tell you freestyle means lines and waiting.

For example: O'Sheen's Irish bar is the best place to go for an enjoyable sit down breakfast. It is also great for lunch, where you can even be served at the bar!
