We will never go on Norwegian Cruise Line. Overall it was extremely disappointing. Alaska was beautiful and we had fun together with our family. We had such a better experience on Royal Caribbean a couple years earlier it apparently set the bar high.

Amazing ports, bad cruise line to go with. I would 100% go to Alaska again based not the ports, but not on NCL. if you’re going to go go with Princess, RCL, Holland America etc... NCL nickel and dimes you for everything from food to activities and the employees on board have terrible guest service compare to other lines we’ve been on.

It was a bad choice to use Bryant for ccx a TA, always left him voice mail, he never returned them.

This was supposed to be a "trip of a life time" but we fell in love with Alaska and British Columbia. We now see why so many people continue to go back. There's so much to see and do. Also, as we discovered, you are at the mercy of the weather. We wish the cruise line offered some type of a "Do Over Discount" I don't think they would necessarily lose money since people would return to their cruise line. We spent A LOT of money on this cruise and excursions and had a Great time for the most part but due to weather and 2 medical emergencies we were delayed and missed some ports and excursions. We realize the cruise line can't control this but it's a big disappointment when you plan and prepare for almost 2 years and it's just cancelled and over - no compensation other than the refund for the excursion. The gesture of a "Do Over Discount" would be appreciated and would encourage people to return to experience what they missed. Otherwise, We Had an Awesome Cruise and Loved Alaska. Amazing family cruise with ages 22 to 81. Ship is beautiful. Alaska inside passage is definitely a bucket list check off. Lots of relaxing on ship. Really need a balcony to make glacier bay worthwhile. Lots of extra charges and activities with extra fees on board so be careful.

You go to Alaska for the glacier cruise and the experience of sailing thru untouched shorelines. Don't count on the ports blowing your mind.

Overall, the cruise was great, but then again, who wouldn't love seeing Alaska! You do have to go with the understanding that it is the very opposite of a Caribbean cruise, so don't go with the assumption that you will be doing the same type of vacationing. Norwegian has incredible ships, so the Bliss will not disappoint!

The Bliss have everything you can ask for, for an Alaskan cruise. The observation deck and water front provides optimal Glacier viewing and throughout the cruise. On board activities and entertainments were top notch. Though we did a lot of walking up and down the stairs by choice, we didn’t really have any issues getting on the elevators when needed either. Along with the nice things to say about the Bliss there are some things that we thought were lacking on this ship. The main dining rooms staff/servers were not very efficient and food presentation and taste needs some attention. “Freestyle Cruising” theme by Norwegian is very misleading. You pretty much have to make reservations for the things you want to do and see others wise you’ll find yourself waiting on long standby lines. You can expect a 20 to 30 minutes wait even if you’re in front of the line on the main dining rooms if didn’t plan ahead of time. That said, we still had a wonderful and memorable time on board the Norwegian Bliss on our cruise to Alaska.

I thought the Biss being so big and having so many diverse people be on top of each other I was pleasantly surprised on how well Norwegian kept the Cruisers happy

This was my second cruise. Besides the cancellation of Ketchikan, it was a decent trip. Will go again

While this ship is new & clean, it is rather large, and with 4,000 passengers we found it almost too big to enjoy. We know we now prefer the smaller ships (2,000 passengers or under) because you can get to see the crew more often and really explore the ship instead of just passing by rooms filled with people. We've never felt a ship was "too small", but this one was "too big."

We had a wonderful time. Get to know the ships layout before your cruise, there are lots of videos on youtube, as well as a layout of the shop on the NCL website.

The cruise was great, as was the service on board. The excursions were wonderful. We look forward to our next NCL adventure.

This cruise was excellent !! The ship was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurants were great. It was sunny all week which was lucky because I was told it rained the whole week before. I would have never known there was 4,000 people on this ship. I was slightly worried because of a few reviews which were negative but have decided that you can't really go by those because some people are just never happy with anything...

i cannot say enough about the crew and the personnel in the Haven. If I had to give it a number rating I would rate it 100 and ten percent.

Boat is large with 4K plus guests. Must schedule events early. Boat is brand new.

Just a quick overview of my Alaska cruise on Norwegian Bliss selling July 14th through July 21st. I had an inside cabin for the first time in years that I shared with one other person due to circumstances beyond our control but it wasn't so bad not half as bad as I thought it was going to be I think most of the reason it wasn't so bad was due to the observation deck that made it a whole lot better. The ship: The ship is dope! It is the biggest and newest ship for this cruise line and it's absolutely beautiful it was very clean, the staff was excellent, everything was new, and I had no problems with it. Because we were going to Alaska it was kind of chilly outside but the pools were heated so as long as you had a tile when you got out you were fine the ship had a laser tag it had go karts they had movies at the in the atrium as well as movies at the pool that the ship was just absolutely beautiful! The staff: Although my room steward was the worst I've had ever and that I don't even know his name, he did not anticipate any of our needs, we had to constantly ask him for simple things like lotion. Everybody else on the ship was fantastic! This was the first cruise ever that I removed my prepaid gratuities and tipped everybody individually simply because I had excellent waitstaff that deserves way bigger tips then my Stewart so although I did tip my Stewart my way staff had way bit better tips. There was an unfortunate incident in the restaurant on the Lido deck were the neck due to the negligence of the staff I was injured so I was unfortunate enough to have to visit their Hospital and there a doctor in the hospital staff was excellent they took really good care of me and I am now negotiating with Norwegian regarding settlement on that issue and that's all I got to say about that. Ports of call: Alaska was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful! I did book a Excursion in Juneau and Skagway through the cruise line and the last stop I just scooted around downtown and did some shopping I had a ball! This was my first time visiting Canada and British Victoria Canada was beautiful the people was so friendly and nice and everything was beautiful. The one thing that caught me off guard is although they do take American money they give you Canadian money back for change now if all of these American visitors are giving you money you know you got American money in that register so I got to get Canadian money back? Overall I had a ball I would do this Cruise again I would highly recommend this Cruise Line this ship and this cruise.

perfect cruise -- staff very friendly, considerate, and polite. Eager to please. Best food on any cruise we have had. Even the youngest grandchildren claimed the food was "delicious"
