Review summary

Overall, the cruise was great, but then again, who wouldn't love seeing Alaska! You do have to go with the understanding that it is the very opposite of a Caribbean cruise, so don't go with the assumption that you will be doing the same type of vacationing. Norwegian has incredible ships, so the Bliss will not disappoint!

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
It's hard not to compare to past cruises, especially when it's the same cruise line. On our previous cruise on the Norwegian Escape, the food and service was excellent, which excited us to think we would have the same on this cruise...unfortunately, that was not the case. For the most part, the food was less than desirable and not as many options. In the specialty dining restaurants the food was excellent, especially Cagney's Steakhouse. If you haven't tried Cagney's you have to do it!!

Entertainment

Great Beatles show and Jersey Boys! The music in the Atrium area was great!

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Our room steward, Brian, was excellent! The restaurant servers was less than desirable, which was shocking to us, because usually we have great service!!

Ship Quality

Beautiful ship and very well maintained and clean! :)

Cabin / Stateroom

We were in 14106...the cabin was comfortable, very spacious, and very clean!

Ship tip

The ship is a Pepsi product ship, so if you're a Coke product person like I am, be prepared to drink something else, while on the ship, and drink up on your Coke product when you're at port! With Norwegian's rules of not allowing soft drinks onboard, I was having Coke withdrawals, but that didn't stop me from enjoying my cruise! :)
