Review summary

Amazing family cruise with ages 22 to 81. Ship is beautiful. Alaska inside passage is definitely a bucket list check off. Lots of relaxing on ship. Really need a balcony to make glacier bay worthwhile. Lots of extra charges and activities with extra fees on board so be careful.

Embarkation

Very organized

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Drinks and bartenders great. Garden Cafe' (buffet) was a bit crowded and food stations were broken up a resulting in having to stand in multiple lines at different stations while your food got cold. Typical buffet quality. Do NOT recommend seafood night there at all. But there were other options included such as The Local (pub food) and Taste / Savor and The Manahattan Room. Those were good.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
If you are not a gambler and it is too cold to swim, daytime activities are limited. The activity plan on sea days are very lame / boring. Shows were good. Beatles music was a hit. We tried to limit the extra inboard costs and put toward excursions but there were other things you could pay for like race car track, starbucks. A lot of activities were vendor sponsored and glorified sales pitches. They could do better.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Beatles, Jersey Boys and Havana were all good. Beatles seating are was too tight. Needed more offerings. Had to get there 1 hour early. Comedy was just OK.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Nice staff. Did not see much of room steward but he made up rooms nice. No towel animals ..nothing special.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Very spacious. Great storage.

Ship tip

Do all dinners and even lunch/breakfasts in dining rooms. Definitely get a balcony for Glacier Bay

Limited. Quaint town but not a thrill port.

Disembarkation

Went fine and reasonably timely but just seemed chaotic and unorganized. Not good communication about what to to, where to go.

Yes they have a mini bar in the rooms! If you want to use it have your room steward unload it for you! We loved the Bliss! Go carts and laser tag are so fun! Yes it is 10.00 for each but well worth the cost!
