Review summary

We had a wonderful time. Get to know the ships layout before your cruise, there are lots of videos on youtube, as well as a layout of the shop on the NCL website.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
A little confusing at first, we did not know where to take our luggage. Once that was figured out, it was easy peesy.

Ship experiences

Fun pub, great food and staff

Garden Café

5 out of 5

So many options and everything was very good. They have really good, but very hot coffee! Drinks such as lemonade, ice tea and a couple other options, as well as water, coffee and hot tea are always available. There is also soft serve ice cream that is alway available.

The food and entertainment was great!!! Our favorite of the restaurants.

Cagney's Steakhouse

5 out of 5

Very nice and very good

Atrium Bar

5 out of 5

This where you'll find the fun games that involve the guests like Deal or No Deal, Trivia etc, as well as dancing to 80's hits. The bar is busier than other bars.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Husband liked the go karts, I did not. We did not use the pools, or fitness center. The games held in the Atrium were fun.

Tradewinds Tax-and-Duty-Free Shops

5 out of 5

Very nice staff. We bought charms and a gorgeous Mickey Mouse watch. The crew members were very helpful and sweet. The stores on board are closed while in port and on the last day (not disembarkation day) they close early, I think it was 5:00pm, not to open again. So grab your souvenirs early.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
LOVED the Liverpool Beatles and Jersey boys!! The cruise director, Roberto was great. We loved the nightly games and music in the Atrium. Would like to have had more activities, we got a bit bored towards the end of the cruise.

Bliss Theater

5 out of 5

Very large, comfortable seats with drink holders. We saw Jersey boys here. Very nice

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was very nice, helpful. The crew members are hard working and awesome.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Beautiful ship and kept spotless!!! We were very impressed by how hard the crew work to keep the ship clean. We really enjoyed the Observation Lounge.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was very nice and spacious. The beds are a bit hard in my opinion though and there was not blanket on the bed, just a sheet and thin comforter. I like a cozy blanket.

Ship tip

Take the stairs if you are able, the elevators take forever. The fish in the carpet face forward, most activities that we did were forward.

Ports of call

Dive town with too many jewelry stores all trying to get you to come inside and buy. We found it really annoying. We were disappointed in our excursion, Mendenhall Glacier and Whale Quest. It was a 5 1/2 hour tour mostly spent on the boat, not exciting whales to see, just a few spouts. It was too long, people were bored and tired. We only had an hour at Mendenhall Glacier. It was not enough time to walk to Nugget Fall, something I really wanted to do. The bus driver was sweet and funny. It was not worth the $300.0 though

Skagway, Alaska

Cute little town. We rode the White Pass Train, it was fun and interesting.

Cruise Glacier Bay

5 out of 5
Beautiful! Get on the bow of the ship when they open it, grab your spot and stay there! Even if the Glacier is on the opposite side, the captain will turn the ship and then you'll be able to see it and take photos.

Ketchikan, Alaska

Town was OK, again same shops....Creek Street is cute but nothing special. We are from the PNW, so it all looked a lot like home.

Victoria, British Columbia

We got there late, so we did not do anything

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy and organized. It did not take long to disembark. There is coffee and danishes served near the Local, were the line is to disembark. If you want breakfast on disembarkation day, get there before early. They close it right at 9:00 am!!!! You can get coffee though
