Ship is spotless. Unfortunately lots of it is cordoned off for those paying premium prices for additional features. Being a mid size ship, having large spaces cordoned off makes the ship seem smaller than it is.

The whole dining experience was very sad. We had to request to be seated to another table. Some of the soups were mostly broth and salty. Many hallways seemed a bit too dark. Sorry but the ship did not 'wow' us.

This was the first time we ever saw that the cruise line has custom carpets, that display a ship, with the bow pointed in the right direction. At every elevator, these ships-in-the-carpet made it really easy to get your bearing as to which was was 'forward' and which way is 'aft'. Believe me, it can get confusing sometimes.

Holland America is considered a premium line. I don't feel like they provide customer service and have any respect for my vacation time and expense. If you want to experience five star customer service and cruise experience try Royal Caribbean. They make every cruise exceptional.
