Quality is down from past trips :( entertainment was the most disappointing part of the trip.

I have cruised on carnival, royal Caribbean, celebrity and on Norwegian many times. Holland America was for the first time and I will never go back. Mainly because nobody ever offered an apology for messing something up... Weather it was the credit card, suitcase, ac, wine charges, lost bottles, overcharge or simply forgetting to make your order...

This was a great cruise. We loved it and can't wait to cruise again. Maybe not this ship but ready to cruise again.

We had a wonderful experience. Cruise was clean and food was awesome. Entire crew did a fantastic job. Our teenage kids made friends and were not bored. They did not like the Club HAL meant for smaller kids. BB kings, Dance group, and all musicians were awesome.

This 5 day cruise has 3 sea days and 2 ports. We had wonderful weather and a calm sea state. The cruise had a large number of families celebrating the holidays so the pools were ofter very crowded. The ship was empty on the port days.

The cruise ship was new to our family, the size, food, activities, staff was great experience for our 1st time on the cruise line.

We are disappointed in the reduced quality of experience on Holland America Line - on all ships and cruises. Carnival has downgraded the food selection and the unique dining and Mariner amenities we have come to appreciate. We're actually looking for a different cruise line even tho we are close to being 5 stars.

Our cruise was very relaxing and enjoyable up to the disembarkment and claiming our luggage.

Wish there had been more choices for handicapped shore excursions. I would even pay for someone to push a manual wheelchair when an electric wheelchair is not allowed.

Great cruise to relax on. Perfect for a honeymoon or a couples get-away. Very few children onboard. Cruise lines mainly draws senior citizens.

Great cruise with wonderful service. Not crowded . easy layout on the ship. Nice weather and good stops

We took this cruise to celebrate my mother's 85th birthday and it did not disappoint. The staff made her feel very special on the actual day as well as the duration of the cruise. The entire trip met our expectations and so much more.

Was a great trip with wonderful staff. Spa was awesome for the wife.

Ship needs TLC and more staff. No need to miss port because bow thruster is not working.

Great staff and food. Boring on board entertainment. BB king music was their version of entertainment. Primarily for seniors.

We missed out on 2 nights dining in the mdr because it was booked up. How can a ship not have enough seating for all who paid for it? This was very poor planning and has probably caused us to not cruise on HA again.

Very nice cruise. Thoroughly enjoyed Holland America looking to cruise with them again next year!

said we would have an onboard credit from the company but that didn’t happen! also failed to notify us that COVId testing was no longer necessary after telling us it was. We wasted money on getting same day at how tests delivered. Will not be booking with in the future l.

While we enjoyed the times we could relax (especially on the deck of our veranda) we will not plan a cruise on the Nieuw Amsterdam again. The amenities are considerably less than other cruises we have been on, the food was not very good, and there were a lot of issues with the ship. In addition to the issues we outlined in our cabin review, one or more elevators were under repair at regular intervals.

Really like it, would go with Holland America again
