navigator of seas by cindyamiller

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Really had a nice time.  It was my husband's first cruise and he was pleasantly surprised. Crew very helpful and friendly. The embarkation and disembarkation were smooth.  I really appreciated that. The cruise director went out of his way to make sure everyone had a nice time.

This ship did not look update. Pluming issue on my floor two days in a row also a water leak on my floor.. I was lied to about my onboard credit for my balcony room. Food was ok . The gratuity was outrageous and stupid.. Luggage took all day to arrive..

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

This cruise ship all over is fine:  only some of food are not good such as Lamb Shank was salty, cast iron fish was dried.

The waiter and assistant (for serving table 352) and cleaning lady, they are very nice and helpful.

Still Waiting by kennethlnichols

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

I'm still waiting, after all this time, to receive my reimbursement check to cover the cost of changing my return flights.  Royal cancelled my sailing of the Empress and I reschedule on the Navigator, with extreme personal effort, I might add.

Again, I'm still waiting here people!!!!

Navigator of the Seas Review for cruise taken by us, the Licata's, on 4/16/16-4/24/16 by nanapoppy27

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Our room and bathroom was kept very clean.  It was always a pleasure to return to it and sleep in it.  Our Cabin Stewart was friendly, courteous and got us another blanket and especially for an extension cord for my water pick because I forgot to pack it. He was very responsive to our needs.

Our Dining Room waiter and his assistant was also very responsive to us and recommended foods on the menu that he thought we might like.  If we asked for seconds, he got them for us and when we ordered something that was unfamiliar to us he told us that he would take it back and we could reorder another dish.  The service was courteous and fast.  In addition, after the first night, I did not even have to ask for iced tea--it was brought to me automatically and refilled often.

The Windjammer buffet:  Everything good, food, service, etc. except for one

thing; not enough people clearing off the tables.  We noticed that tables that were not cleared off were occupied  by new people trying to have breakfast or lunch--especially those tables in front of the windows.  My suggestion is to have more staff doing that and doing it often.

Entertainment excellent--particularly the Ice Skating dance show.  It was spectacular!  We also like the Bobby Arvin show and also the show with all the singers and dancers.

In the afternoon we went up to the Cosmopolitan Club on the 14th deck and relaxed.  We noticed that other people who were there were either reading, playing cards, (or sleeping) and were quiet.  I found it to be  relaxing except for one thing; the music that was playing was very loud.  I asked the bartender if it were possible to lower the volume because we all went up there to read, etc. and he said "sure" and lowered the music so that it became "background" music so that people could read, sleep, and relax.  I was very grateful that he did this and responded to my request.  I think the other passengers were grateful too!  The Cosmopolitan Club is a beautiful room overlooking the pools with the ocean on both sides of the ship, the chairs are very comfortable and it is a quiet and restful respite during the day.

We loved the Captain's Talk with his Senior Staff.  It was both informative and  very interesting and probably could have gone on for another hour had he and his staff had more time.  We were very impressed by the enormity of the time and effort to feed, house, and entertain  almost 5,000 people on a daily basis!

We want to thank the Captain, the Senior Staff, and all the staff for a wonderful 8 days!  Barbara and John Licata

Navigator of the Sea by bestmaria55

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

This was my first cruise and I thought it was wonderful.  I loved the excursions, the ship, the activities, and overall everything.  I would have liked a better selection of food and that's probably the only thing I would have changed.

We enjoyed our time. by bikerx

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

As expected the food was outstanding and there was plenty of it. We had the soft drink package but rarely used it.  The Windjammer served a strawberry-kiwi drink that was so-so good!  On multiple occasion, I was served a steak in the Main Dining room that was melted in your mouth.

Our 6 day cruise by judydon2000

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Have been on better cruises, this on seemed to be unorganized. I think they should change up some things, it the same thing on every ship. Husband was not happy about not having chili for the hot dogs on lunch buffet or chicken fingers, they just make an easy snack.

Wonderful time onboard the Navigator of the Seas by Cruiser102

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was my first time on the Navigator. It was a beautiful ship. We had calm seas and a great cruise.

The food was delish. You can be as busy as you want or take time to relax. There is an abundance of lounge chairs around the pool or on quieter decks. Although I don't participate in the Sports activities offered, I thoroughly enjoyed watching them. Happy

Great family cruise by kmlafferty

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

My family of 5 loved the navigator of the seas...our family suite was roomy, the staff was friendly, and the ports of call were nice.  I would suggest booking excursions on your own since the costs are extremely high and some of the excursions were not that good.  Overall though we had a great time and would sail would Royal Caribbean again.

Wasn't as advertised. by bklaassen1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

When I booked with Cheap tickets I was promised an on board credit and a virtual balcony neither one of these took place. When I asked quest service I was told they didn't have virtual balconies when the other couple were traveling with had one. The on board credit wasn't booked the cruise line said by the travel agent. So beware and make sure everything comes back when pay.

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

It was really fun experience,it was our first family trip we were 13 of us.the kids had a great time ,lots of things to do .one suggestion I have is to have small stations where people can put there  dirty dishes and cups ,Especially by the pool area    And by the kids court I do not like to see many cups laying on the floor .

Great cruising get away from it all by jeffbrooksjr

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The ship was expansive and the central atrium was like being in a Vegas casino shopping mall. The food in the main dining room was great, fantastic service by the servers. The nightly shows were great, especially the ice show!  Everyone was friendly so made the cruise more enjoyable.
