Leave someone's ship card in the room slot if you need a phone, or camera batteries, or anything to continue charging while you are out of the room. If you don't, the room will not have any power.

There was only one formal night. No need to bring lots of dressy clothes. They pre punch a hole in the card. Bring your favorite lanyard. They serve you in the buffet which I prefer. Finally, some staff were new. Be considerate as they learn how Americans operate. It's vacation! RELAX.

Be prepared to be spoiled. Future Cruise Consultant has evening hours in the Top Sail Lounge and they have the power to fix status that MSC phone operatives don't know how.

If it is priced you are worried about go MSC but lower your expectations. 50% of the guest will be from overseas(I like that) as with RCL, Carnival and NCL its 90% Americans. Be warned if they mess up your booking in anyway it could take a day or 2 to sort it out as the have to contact the main office onshore. For me they just don't fix mistakes fast enough and food is just ok. Specialty dining was really good but you pay for it. Will I sail MSC again most likely no unless I'm on a tight budget.

Do not miss the Paris show! Be sure to go to the shows at the Cabaret theater. Take cards,, games, books with you. They are not available on the ship and there are not enough activities.
