Main dining was loud and menu was exactly the same as first 7 days for 2nd 7 days. Many items were just mush. Service was excellent. Food in Specialty restaurants was excellent. Service also excellent. Butcher’s Cut was the best! Buffet was very good and was our go to when mdr menu was bad. The service there was the best. It was a no touch way to serve us and we loved it.
Onboard Activities

Only did one pool. It was good. Friend did outher pools for laps. All ok.
Entertainment

The shows in theater at night were very poor. Cruise ship singers screamed their songs. Music chosen on Coast to Coast night was not what Americans know and say these are representations of America. Sound was way too loud.
Service and Staff

All of our waiters would be rated 10+! Wonderful service. Room steward was good but we did not see her enough to develop a relationship as we have done on other ships. I am sure that though the staff was double the number of passengers, they would be just as excellent if the ship were full.

Most beautiful ship! Very very clean…all areas. No Covid on ship for 14 days speaks to cleanliness.
Cabin / Stateroom

Smallest balcony cabin we have ever had. Bed so close to closet with sliding doors. Maybe had 12”? Sliding doors were very very hard to open. No outer handles. Couch was very hard and not comfy. Only 2 US type electric plug ins. Bring own extension cord if you have CPAP machine. MSC does not provide. Cabin very clean.
Ship tip
Do your homework about what they provide in cabin and what the entertainment is. Be flexible if ports are canceled.
I had similar experiences with MSC. Website and customer service is horrible. My MDR menu didn't repeat but a few times, dishes were suspiciously similar. My MDR food was OK. Always got two main courses and always liked at least one of them.
Thanks for the review. I just sailed on the Meraviglia last week and had a great experience. The food in the dining room and entertainment were excellent. The website and customer service can be an issue, but once I boarded, everything was great.
