I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the wonderful experience I’ve had on this cruise. The exceptional service, the immaculate cleanliness, the talent and energy of the performers of Broadway Theater shows and the warm hospitality have all contributed to an unforgettable trip. I look forward to creating more wonderful memories with Maraviglia!

We are sad that we missed 2 ports (Florida and Ocean Cay) and only visited Nassau, but we still had an amazing time and can’t wait to go back!

Summary: Arrival is Chaotic. Now some will write how smooth it was but they, in most cases, arrived at 8:00a.m. For those that arrived at scheduled time it was an Old School Chaotic check in. So we were dropped off and there we were with our bags. Every other port you are greeted by a bag handler. In Brooklyn, you have to bring your bag to the Handler. Then you cross the street and get in a line about 10 rows long. Then you get in and you are in another line about 25 rows long, and that's to get through customs. At that point another line to check in and finally you sit down for 5 minutes and are called. The total time is on par w other cruise companies but if you are older you stand through 90%of the process. Once onboard we signed up for specialty dinners. 2 were outstanding. Ocean Cay and Steakhouse. Service was very good. Cris in Ocean Cay our waiter was spectacular. Head Chef was in the Kitchen and stopped at every table. Steakhouse was excellent. Third Restaurant, The Food was good. Service Excellent but it wasn't what I would call a Specialty Restaurant. Rather than dragging you through a line by line review, I will simplify it by saying they need to be more detail oriented. If anyone wants details I can Provide. Mostly just listening. We skipped the Circus and the Magic Of Houdini. I won't pay for Entertainment. Our wait staff in the MDR were off the first night but spot on after that. Again details. The layout in Waves sucked for the wait staff. They had beer or wine Ltd at their stand. Anything else you were told would take a half hour as the bar was quite a ways away. Coppucino, a half hour as every bar makes coppucino but the dining room doesn't have a bar. Free Entertainment was fabulous. Their dancers did many shows one better than the other. I did not go to Comedy Show but my wife said it was good. Karaoke Bar was always crowded and layout was poor. You will understand if you experience it. Lighting in many spots was bright. Not intimate or mood setting. Ceiling Displays are fantastic.

I had never heard of MSC but I will definitely book another cruise with them. Our experience was great.

We meet some great people. Enjoyed most of the food and the pizza is amazing. However we won't sail this ship or her sister ship

This was our second cruise on this ship and itinerary. We're not disappointed. Staff is excellent.

Lame ports. Port Canaveral there is nothing to do. We didn’t leave the ship. Nassau gets old fast. The private island was beautiful but lots of walking. Tho there is a tram. Drinks at diff bars there very inconsistent. Would like to see Miami or another Fl port.

This cruise was a wonderful break, it’s off season up in Canada so it wasn’t crowded and I enjoy exploring on my own. Even though the food and entertainment was not the same quality as previous MSC cruises, even on the Meraviglia, I still think MSC aid a great cruise line for budget and solo travelers. The ship is very clean and the staff are welcoming and helpful. I’m excited for my next cruise vacation!

Cruising is the best most affordable way to see Bermuda! This is my second time cruising there and I can still think of more things that I have missed there, and I’ve done different things both times.

Overall, I rate the cruise an 8. The additional fees on the cruise made it a bit more expensive than I thought.

The Meraviglia is a beautiful ship with so much to do. Progressive trivia was a lot of fun.

The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was great for us!

Over all we had a great time. The Hola restaurant it's not that great, slow and not authentic. The skybar was great. We meet lots of people and enjoyed most post.

This review was as unbiased as possible. This was our first MSC Cruise. We will come back. But we are going to be careful about room selection. Everything else was very good all things considered. The most important thing is, the cruise line did not change itinerary, and we ended up going as planned and the sailing was smooth. Our main purpose was to see the ship and islands, and sail on a cruise ship in the open ocean as we love. This was accomplished. The passengers ended up to be the international bunch, and I loved it. There were American, Chinese, Dutch, Eastern European, French, German, and Japanese prevailing. Bar crew should work on the upscale drinks. Market place needs to work on their soups and cleanup in the Aft outdoor area. MDR keep making effort with the food quality. Overall maintenance was good but could be better in several areas, including spa and room shower drainage. Big shout out to all of the crew who spoke English and Italian fluently. This includes the Englishman cruise director...on the Italian ship.

We enjoyed all 11 days on this beautiful ship. We had the drink package on board credit Wi-Fi and a balcony. Boarding was a piece of cake in Brooklyn. It was our first time leaving from this location and I was very very concerned about traffic but everything worked out fine. The weather was beautiful and this was the smoothest ride I’ve ever had on a cruise ship it barely felt like we were on the sea. We felt the ship was a nice design and utilized all the spaces well. Would have liked to seen more live bands and not karaoke style music. So many reviews are negative, but you should go and try it for yourself. Keep your expectations in check and you won’t be disappointed.

Here's a belated review. I was part of the trip in early April, from Brooklyn Cruise Terminal to parts of the Antilles. This is my second time cruising on the Meraviglia, and I find that overall quality has improved, especially that of food and hospitality. Again, I would like to thank the cruise director, Gavin, for his excellent time management, and for being present around the ship and engaging with as many cruisers as he reasonably could; the ship's captain and his staff, and the security screening team on board, for a safe 12-day trip; and most crew members for being available to assist cruisers. I also understand that every cruise worker is overworked, so I did my best not to take things personally. Despite minor poor experiences on board, I was able to better navigate the ship, enjoyed both the events on board and the excursions, and felt this trip was more worth it than my first.

Overall not a bad cruise for the less than $1K we spent for it but the extra onboard costs can make it frustrating. Good for those on a budget.
