All cruise is beautiful. everything is perfect. Stuff the best.

One previous cruise pre-covid, a five day on NCL which was fine. We were 21 days on Meraviglia from March 30th to New York April 20th and were made to feel like family by so many of the staff. We were made special and had fun and enjoyed everything about the experience. Only negative was we booked first part of cruise thru whose description of our stateroom did not match what we received( stateroom 8060-no sofa) so we will only book in future thru MSC.

we was very happy to have this experience. our room was with the balcony and we did enjoyed to spend time there when the ship was at the sea.

A relaxing week, but not the experience we wanted.

This was an all-girls trip that was planned way in advance. The ship itself is beautiful, there are plenty of bars and specialty restaurants on board, as well as a pretty big casino. The cabins we booked were balconies next to each other which made it nice for our morning coffee. Our cabin steward was very attentive to all of our needs and wants. Unfortunately, the main restaurants were packed for breakfast, lunch and dinner which made it for a very long wait to be served and a hectic day for all the servers. If MSC would improve their buffet food this would solve this issue. The highlight of the cruise was the ship itself and running into Francisco.

No expense was spared by MSC on the Meraviglia. Everything was beautifully done, from the furnishings, to the food, to the shows. It was the most fun family vacation we’ve had.

MSC by any standard is a great cruise line. I believe it is going to get even greater. The interior decorations rival the best of the best in the cruise industry, the areas are well aid out and place. Of the 25 plus cruises taken and this being the first MSC cruise, sorry I waited so long. Best perk of this four-day cruise; time spent on MSC's private island, Ocean Cay.

The ship was beautify, one of the nicest I've sailed on. The crew and staff were very helpful and I had no problems or issues. I was able to change my fixed dining time twice during the cruise, so its almost anytime dining, I just had to ask the they accommodated! Will cruise MSC again in the next year.

Overall it was a nice cruise. However, there were cleanliness issues upon arrival (room/toilet not clean). The food in the buffet was just horrible. The only thing edible was their pizza. You could grab a cheeseburger and hotdog pretty quickly, otherwise there was slim pickins. Nassau was great and Ocean Cay was beautiful.

Good cruise, but not sure if I will sail msc again.

Again, bars were not set up for staff efficiency causing delays in drink service. I wish we had gotten our server's (Arvin) contact information so we would be able to keep in contact with him and see the completion of his home and watch the growth of his family in the Philippines.

There was a lack of communication between the Travel Agency and the cruiseline. I never received the onboard credit that was due me; even after I provided proof. Some of the staff were very pleasant and helpful, while others were not. The first night, I didn't receive wash cloths and there was a sewage like odor coming from my shower. Nothing was provided to me for the inconveniences I experienced while on the cruise.

Wonderful staff, beautiful ship, plenty of on-board activities and great destinations

There are plenty of ours aboard the ship. It was just a matter of finding one that did not have long lines of people waiting for a beverage. The longest lines were always the outdoor pool bars. We found the casino bar was a great place to grab a beverage and chat with other people on the cruise

MSC can benefit from following the models of other cruise lines with a few updates.

We booked this cruise because of MSC's advertisement of eco-friendly practices and focus on sustainability. Instead, we found the same waste, excess and focus on quantity over quality that we have with other cruise lines. As far as cruises go, it was midling (or lower, in the case of the food). MSC fits right in with Carnival as far as cruising goes. Which is a shame, because we were expecting a more responsible approach to cruising. MSC had the potential to be innovators of a whole new way of cruising, but what we got was a typical crowded cruise cay, plastic straws, tons of wasted food and dining options that not only were not eco-friendly, but also effecticely excluded anyone unfortunate enough to have a dietary restriction. Just a note: this rating system is rigged. The only section where I gave a good review was for the cabin and the entertainment so...2 out of 11 categories), and somehow the overall review still ended up as over 4. Something wrong with that algorithm for sure so don't trust the number of stars the reviews give. Read the whole review people submit so you get the real picture of their experience.

I cruised with my significant other, and another couple for one of our 40th birthdays. The 3 others I cruised with have never cruised before. Their overall experience was great! The negative takeaways I feel could be fixed but it is just how the cruise does it maybe? I've cruised Disney, Silver Seas, Carnival and Norwegian. MSC is beautiful and clean. Pools are small and service is slow but Ocean Cay was nice.

I have been on many cruises and wasn’t sure about a new cruise line, this one rated at the very top. I love MSC !!

I wont say I didn't enjoy the cruise, i truly did. but, for the price, I was disappointed with MSC in general, specifically for the surprise gratuity 2 days in without notice, the dinner wait for basic food, the bar service and the wait to wait to wait upon disembarkation. Overall, I had a good time, but there are areas that keep this brand from getting over the three star level. I think with better staffing at the bar and a kitchen on a close floor to the dining area would improve efficiency. Waiting two hours for a basic 3 course meal was ridiculous.
