Review summary

Overall it was a nice cruise. However, there were cleanliness issues upon arrival (room/toilet not clean). The food in the buffet was just horrible. The only thing edible was their pizza. You could grab a cheeseburger and hotdog pretty quickly, otherwise there was slim pickins. Nassau was great and Ocean Cay was beautiful.

Terrible, not organized. Couldn't tell when our boarding number came up, only one guy holding a sign and announcements couldn't be heard.

Never saw our room porter once. Bed had no sheet, room wasn't clean upon arrival, had to clean it myself. Bartenders were not responsive, nor were they friendly.

Room size was okay but room wasn't cleaned prior to arrival.

Ship tip

Don't eat in the buffet. Keep your trips short, ship begins to smell like septic system after three days. Bring wipes or something to clean your room and toilet with because mine weren't cleaned.

Wow!! We just got off the Meraviglia last week. Must have been a different ship!?! We found almost the opposite of what you found. Never had a problem with the buffet (plenty of variety and tasted good) or staff ( except Casino). Never smelled sewage. Saw my steward every day. Pretty good cruise I would go MSC again.

People either love or hate MSC. I have cruised a total of 33 days on the Meraviglia and Divina in the past year and loved it. I thought the food in the dining room and the Buffet was equivalent to or better than Carnival or Royal Caribbean. Lots of selections and good quality.
