Service in the main dining room could have been better. I do think there may not have been enough staff, asking for anything was a hope and prayer you would get it. Never once were we asked if we wanted a beverage. The food was good, not exceptional but good.

Onboard Activities

Pools were nice, lots of seating. Could use more shipboard activities. Probably need a new cruise director.

Entertainment

Below average compared to other cruise lines. The two paid shows seemed to be the same show with different music. The show with the big name entertainment was scheduled for the same time as the beach party, giving the entertainer a poor showing. Again, cruise director needs to step up.

JT, MSC is headquartered in Geneva Switzerland. They have over 300 years of maritime operation, mostly in shipping of goods. Really big in container shipping.

Glad you enjoyed most of it. MSC is an Italian cruise line and does a few things differently than what you may experience on Carnival, Royal Caribbean, or NCL. Dinner in Italy, and much of Europe, is not rushed and can take 2 hours or so.
