We'd do it again in a heart beat by RobertB26

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

My girlfriend and I were on this cruise. It was out first cruise ever and we both enjoyed it. I highly suggest the balcony room. One of the best parts was getting room service in the morning and then setting on the balcony drinking our morning tea or coffee. There was really only three things that were bad. 1 The drink selection is pretty small. Coffee, hot tea, soda, maybe ice tea and that about it.

Best way to see the world by BrianJ4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

The ship offered a lot of entertainment options. Whether rock climbing, swimming, fitness center, spa, lounges, enrichment lectures, cuisine, or shows, there was something that would appeal to anyone, regardless of ethnicity or nationality. The boat was easy to navigate, and everything felt close. The staff was friendly, and my fellow traveling companions were fantastic.

A great cruise by StanA1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

The ship was very nice. You would never know there were over 3,000 passengers on board. Main dining was excellent. The Promende rooms were a fun change. The inside window came with a built in sofa for extra seating and room in the cabin.

Fantastic Honeymoon Cruise by BethF

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

Our recent honeymoon cruise was made more special by the staff and crew of The Mariner of the Seas as well as the accommodations. The ship was beautiful, with the replica dining room from the Titanic, the nice shops and eateries of the Royal Promenade and the guest support staff. Everyone there made our trip more enjoyable.

Great Ports! by LauraH3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

The cruise was alright. We had a good tim in all the ports of call. We knew from reading other reviews the dining would not be stellar, but knew that the ports would be excellent. We experienced issues with the Internet service offered by the ship since it was difficult to access, spotty reception and unreliable. The ship size was good for the number of people onboard and we loved our stateroom. The tv accessible billing was confusing but was correct when we received our final bill. We opted for My Time dining which was a good option for us since we generally eat dinner between 8:00 and 9:00. Being presented with bills needing a signature mid-way through dinner for a bottle of wine or a cocktail seemed odd. The sattelite service for the TV was out for the entire cruise and we were told it had been out since January. The staff for the most part was very friendly but it only takes one bad experience to ruin your entire opinion.

Repositioning Cruise by JonR2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: South America

We have been on the Mariner before in the Caribbean, and since we did have so many days at sea, it was nice to have a larger ship with lots of things to do. But even with that 30 days is a long time especially when half of them are at sea. But the size of the ship mitigated this to some extent

Would absolutely sail again by Annm111

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

This was my second Royal Caribbean cruise and I would rate them both as excellent. Everything was well organized from the check in procedure to the off loading. I take a cruise to relax - to be treated like a princess and to sit in the sun and read. I was able to do all three on this cruise. The staff is amazing -right down to the maintenance staff - everyone was friendly, professional and helped make my cruise experience a joy.

A very relaxing, awesome cruise!!! by JaniceW3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

We enjoyed our vacation on the Mariner of the Sea! Our plan was to be able to relax and we were definitely able to do that. The dining experiences were wonderful with great cordial staff members. Our evening dining was awesome with My Time Dining! Our waiters were kind, caring and met our needs! We met several couples during the My Time Dining and enjoyed their company frequently throughout our cruise. We had a Balcony room which was awesome to enjoy both day and night. The 7 days of cruising were just what we needed.

Virgin Cruisers! by JanS1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

This was a great trip for cruise virgins. The ship is big enough to have many options but not so huge that we got lost trying to fiind it all. Royal Caribbean really knows how to cater to their customers.

Dissappointed by DerekD

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

This is the first cruise with Royal Carribean. I was very disappointed. The food in the formal dining room was also available at the buffet and for room service. If you wanted to order a filet mignon there was an additional charge of $15. A steak and lobster meal was never offered at the formal dining room. I also noticed the employees on their cellular phones while cleaning rooms or just walking around. On other cruises the stateroom cleaners would call you by your name, on this cruise they never did.
