Do not SAIL on the Mardi Gras. You will be very disappointed in the food and the entertainment. They rip you off bedtime everywhere, from room service to the cost of internet.

There is a lot going on in this ship and and everything was very good but only a few things were excellent.

Take the stairs if possible, elevators are insanely slow. We also observed several groups of kids either standing in elevator doors to prevent them from closing, and joking about how nobody was going to use the elevator until they decided to let them. We also got into elevators where someone had pressed every floor button before getting off the elevator.

If you are expecting a "Mardi Gras" theme do not! There was no purple, greeen or gold! It could have been done really fun with that theme. Expect to pay extra for everything so basically double your price at least! It's just a BIG normal boat! I wish I had tried Princess this time instead! This was at least my 8th cruise!
