We paid a lot of money for an average cruise and average service! NOTHING special! And to top it off I came home with COVID! I would choose Royal Carribbean or Holland America or try another brand next time for sure!

There are a lot of different options. The main dining room is average but if you do not mind paying extra you can and that food is better. They do a sushi boat appetizer for an extra$30 plus gratuity and it is very good.
Onboard Activities

I chose this boat because of the roller coaster! It was OUT OF SERVICE the entire trip!!!!! No one rode the rolllercoastwr! They were changing cars on it and we should have been told! Also be aware there is an extra$15 fee for every time if it works. Pool's were normal and lots of chairs available. I never saw anyone using the running track or fitness center and the rope swing was kiddy. Not really for older teens or adults!

Evidently the comedy show was good but they turned people away. We spent time in the piano bar and he was funny but the music itself was not good! He could not sing. NormLly a place like that would be packed and we always had a seat!

Waiters I might give a 4. They were fine but room steward only came once a day. They used to come twice. We had to ask for more water! We would have loved ice in the evening. Nothing extra was ever done that we didn't pay for.

Cabin layout was fine. It was only the two of us so it was not a problem.
Ship tip
If you are expecting a "Mardi Gras" theme do not! There was no purple, greeen or gold! It could have been done really fun with that theme. Expect to pay extra for everything so basically double your price at least! It's just a BIG normal boat! I wish I had tried Princess this time instead! This was at least my 8th cruise!
The shore excursion was the worst I have ever been on and when we told the excursion desk they said they had to verify and the shore excursion people lied because the shore excursion things listed were NOT available. We wasted that money. It was the worst one in 8 cruises!!!! Awful and they didn't even apologize!
The beach we went to was rocky so you had to wear shoes in the water! It was okay but we just layed out. There was food and beverage available but nothing great but it was okay.
People who complain they got covid but yet book a cruise in summer I do not feel sorry for . Advocate for yourself and if you're prone to pick something up stay away from crowds .
