Review summary

I needed a back to back! I wish there were more of us on the ship this time. Really had fun with just the two of us though.

Embarkation

Next to a suite upgrade with priority back in April, this was probably one of the best embarks I have seen. My only advice is to have a personal fan or some patience because they don’t share a lot of air in the building lol! I had mines😊

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We tried Teppanyaki our first night because there was a 2 hour wait for main dining. It was amazing! Chibang’s was ok. SHAQ’S chicken was everything and more. Those sandwiches and fries are heaven! We ate there for lunch almost every day! I actually missed my once a year Guy’s burger! Due to the wait times, we only ate in main dining a few nights but, it’s always good. The wait staff is fun and interactive. The singing and dancing is a plus😊

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Not enough time to do it all!!!!! Hopefully someone will bless me with a back to back one day lol! We went to one of the three Family Feud shows, Live and Marriage, a couple of magic shows, Mardi Gras parade, Deal or No Deal just to name a few. Also, this was the first ship to have multiple double comedy shows at night!

Entertainment

The Center stage shows were really good. Lots of aerial stunts, singing and dancing. Tons of interactions with the crowds.

Service and Staff

So when I booked this cruise last year, it was because Cookie had announced he was going to the Mardi Gras. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go once he left. However, Jacky was AMAZING!!!!! He is so funny and charismatic. Very approachable and always talked to the crowd after the Wave shows. I was able to get a couple of photos with him. I would definitely booked another cruise if he was the CD. Ni ko my room steward was great. Always smiling and laughing. My husband is not an early riser so we joked about it every day lol! The staff around the ship was great as well.

Ship Quality

Lots of walking so bring a pair of comfortable shoes. This was the biggest ship we have been on but I came prepared. Love, love, love that there were so many elevators and the fact that they were see through was a plus! The hidden elevator to the spa, absolutely my favorite!!!!!!! I didn’t like that the theater was all the way in the back and the lines were so long you had to stand in the casino. Luckily, there is a smoking and non-smoking side to the casino. The other thing I would change is access to cabins on deck 17. While I loved the two level lido decks, I am used to going to my cabin from there. There was no entry way unless I missed it. We had to walk downstairs, go through deck 16, and walk upstairs or take the elevator one floor up each time. I chose the stairs and my knee was killing me by the third day lol. Aside from those two things, this ship is definitely a must and most certainly a do-over🥰🥰🥰

Comfy shoes for the walking!

Disembarkation

I think the disembark selection on the hub app is an added bonus! I have never gotten off a ship so fast! I was actually sad because I wanted a little more time. I really hope I was able to shed some light on my wonderful trip and have fun on your next adventure. Those folk work really hard to make sure you get the experience of a lifetime! I appreciated every single moment❤️
