Review summary

We had party of 14, 4, ages 9, 12, 17, 18, we rarely saw. We all enjoyed being together & sharing & exploring the ship. Most of the kids joined us for dinner. It's a fun way to travel.

Embarkation

Not a very long wait from assigned boarding time

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining in Flamingo was good, our party of 14 shared 2 round tables. Food was very good most nights, some entrees were dry, over cooked. Choices were good, lobster tails were perfect. Waiters Roberto & Ricardo were great. Surprised no linen table clothes on any occasion, & limit of silverware.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Bolt never ran, grand kids disappointed, kids didn't like slides. Rope course was enjoyed by them. Too windy for mini golf, also pickleball was impossible in the wind.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Shows were fantastic, costumes were amazing, performers outstandingly talented. Went to several comedy shows, pg, Jersey was the best. The don't really do stand up comedy, just make fun of patrons.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
9 yr grandson enjoyed video games & met 2 friends. 12 yr old met tons of friends, enjoyed hanging out on ship, not sure how much in the club itself.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our cabin steward Zak, was spot on all the time, waiters in Flamingo also. Bar tenders not so much, slow in responding, even when not busy. Slow to smile.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
This is the largest ship I've been on, probably will not go this big again. Too crowded. Shop design was ok, deck 7 bad design, having to pass through casinos. Couldn't remember which side was non smoking, as the other side was a death trap. Not much room to walk around the atrium on 7, by sound board. Seating arrangement there was odd. Dk 6 was nice, bars nicely decorated, fewest shops I've ever seen on a ship. Good idea for pictures now, rather than printing all, have digital. Elevators HOT, no ac, stuffy! Hot areas throughout ship, Marketplace Cafe along window seats especially, hot, or alcove seats on other side. Mostly very clean, never saw elevator buttons get wiped off. Common areas clean. Our of party of 14, so far 4 have gotten I'll. 1 went to ships dr, others just now getting symptons.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
For us, perfect, layout was smart, storage ample, bathroom good, shower, especially the doors good design. Always need more outlets, why none in bathroom?

Ship tip

Have fun, it's a very nice ship, but the Bolt probably won't be running.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
This is our 3rd time from this port, very easy to get to. We visited Kennedy Space Center on Friday & throughly enjoyed it. Even lucked out seeing a launch that evening.

Oranjestad, Aruba

Toured the island in the past, very different in landscape.

Willemstad, Curacao

5 out of 5
Walked the town & saw the swinging bridge, too windy this time.

Grand Turk Island

5 out of 5
Rented 3 golf carts. Enjoyed the beaches & local restautant. 1 party member spotted 4 lion fish, while snorkleling & reported to authority.

Disembarkation

Since driving home, no hurry, all went well until we lost 1 luggage. I'd tag had come off, & was late in finding. Need better way to attach tags.
