make sure you go to the serenity deck (18) to watch the sunrise, use the HUB app to plan the activities you want to attend

This bears repeating: pack your patience when it comes to the elevators. We found ourselves taking the stairs more on this cruise than on past cruise due to the long wait for an elevator.

Get to the shows early they fill up fast
sergiorusty
Take a behind the fun tour and book it as soon as you get on the ship. It is a bit pricey $150.00 per person but sooooo worth it. You get to tour the galley, food storage, laundry, crews quarters, engine room, the brewery ands the bridge. You meet so many awesome crew including the captain! It was really a great tour!

Overpack, bring a water bottle, get a passport and sunscreen

If you are not into having fun stay home
Tami1977
don't! too many people and not enough staff to deal with that crowd.
kernbonnie1
Don’t do it. Yes Carnival is cheaper than most other cruise lines , but you ABSOLUTELY get what you pay for! I highly recommend you spend a few more dollars and cruise on Royal Caribbean or better!
vculcasi
Have lots of patience with the elevators since they are too small for the size of the ship.

Try to get the layout and exploring of the ship done on your embark meant day makes the rest of the week easier to plan
Cruisers123
Not enough elevators. Lines for breakfast is long. Public bathrooms are not what you expect. Cleaning is definitely not up to par. Half our boat got off with flu, covid, or just plan crud.

Do go with high expectations of the overall experience. We had a great time in March and expected the same but it was just okay. The ports were very nice just the on ship experience was different. We didn’t like the food enough to pay for the second round to go there so we just went to the buffet otherwise the featured restoloke Chibang was not all that and the Italian restaurant was worse than that one so we didn’t like those two at all. To pay $8.00 per person to go back was simply not happening. So to the Lido Marketplace Buffet we went.

Do as much as you can and have fun. We used the stairs a lot.
karebear98
Get to know the layout of the ship before you board if possible, and use the stairs, elevators are hard to get.
teeunta89
Come hungry because the food never ends
dell97
Never bring a lot of clothes, you'll need more bathing suits and coverups than anything.
Aussiegirl2
Learn you way around as best you can. It is a huge ship and lots of places to go and get to and a walk from one end to the other lol

Get your passport,do something different everyday, eat at different restaurants, have fun and enjoy the moment.

No need to pack your swim suit. There is no pool room.
