Overall we had a great time. We have very busy lives on a daily basis. We cruise to escape the busyness of day to day life. We don’t do internet or larger groups of people we prefer peace and quiet so we stay in those types of areas and just enjoy being with each other. We have been married 49 years and it works for us!
Embarkation

Arrival time was 10:30 - 11:00. Got caught in a little traffic. Arrived at check in at 11:15. We were on the ship at 11:30am. So smooth and fast!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We ate in the main dining room each night. We loved the new menus. Everything we had was hot and delicious. For breakfast and lunch we ate at various venues. The only one we did not care for was the chicken biscuit at Shaq’s. All the other places were great! We never experienced long lines at any of the places we went to. Not sure if it was great timing but rarely had to wait.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We mostly used the Havana area and the casino. We did see a few shows. Mostly relaxed….just what we needed!
Mardi Gras Casino
5 out of 5
Really happy they have a separate non smoking casino. We played the slots and ended up ahead. A tip….bring sanitizing wipes, machines are not cleaned between users. Might keep you from picking up a virus.
Havana Pool
5 out of 5
We really enjoyed the Havana area. Always room in the pool and always able to find deck chairs. Bartenders Juan, and Miguel were fabulous
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We really don’t cruise for all the entertainment shows. People watching can be quite entertaining all on its own.😂
Mardi Gras Theater
4 out of 5
We saw several shows….they were typical music types. They were well put on.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Crew was amazing. Always smiling and friendly. The wait staff we had were great! Knew our names and addressed us by our names regularly, they knew what we liked and had it on our table when we arrived for dinner. Room attendant was amazing as well. Took extremely good care of us and our room.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Crew seemed to work constantly to keep the ship clean. There are some worn and stained areas however it’s expected with 6000 + guests every week. Not everyone is considerate of the furniture and common areas. People drop stuff and leave it there food and drinks get spilled and people just walk off and leave it without letting the crew know. So stuff is going to be stained and worn down it’s to be expected.
Cabin / Stateroom

Love love love the Havana cabins! They are a little bit more $$ but so worth it. Very quiet our room was very cool and comfortable. We had an inside cabin but it was perfect for us. Lots and lots of storage space. Tip…the shelves can be put in an upright position to give more room for long dresses!!!!
Ship tip
Take a behind the fun tour and book it as soon as you get on the ship. It is a bit pricey $150.00 per person but sooooo worth it. You get to tour the galley, food storage, laundry, crews quarters, engine room, the brewery ands the bridge. You meet so many awesome crew including the captain! It was really a great tour!
The beach was crowded. If you want to sit near the water it can be a bit costly. There are free chairs but no umbrellas away from the water. On the water $40 fir 2 chairs and an umbrella but squeezed in right next to each other.
Disembarkation was fairly easy for us. We did express debarkation where you take all your luggage. It would be a whole lot easier if people would follow directions and not go to the debarkation deck until called. Traveled with passports so getting through immigration was a breeeze!
