If you’re adventurous and you don’t mind walking a lot and trying out different food venues then I would suggest this cruise ship. They do have like 16 restaurants. But my wife and I like the dream and vista class ships more. We will never cruise the XL ships again.
Go with the flow, sometimes it's better to go get ice cream instead of waiting for guys burger when they open. Bring your patience, lots of people from all over the world are vacationing.
It’s VERY large. Which means there are a TON of people on it. We are glad we went on it. But will definitely go on a mid-size ship from now on. It’s more our thing. Also, we were bummed the Bolt was down a lot and it got canceled on us 3 times.
Carnival did a great job translating the holidays on the ship.
Learn where the least busy elevators are...aft or forward!
The teens on board were a little "energetic" at times during Dive In Movies and some were running at full speed on various floors.
It was interesting to see identified security in areas where the young people frequented.
Learn the ship! Stay on for 1 port day as the ship empties out and 10x easier to navigate. The hallways and main areas are narrow so can be a traffic jam
Try all the dining options available and experience all the amenities and events offered! Did you know -- getting a massage can help you lose weight ladies! Yes, I lost 10 lbs on my cruise!
