Review summary

This was my first and most likely my last cruise. I was not impressed. I could of spent less money and just took my family to the Bahamas for a week.

Embarkation

Very poor. Boarding was very confusing. No one was giving instructions. We were told to go to mustard stations. Where is that? It was rough

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Only a few places actually had good food. The buffet was awful. Getting a drink was tough. You had to wait in line for 10 to 15 minutes every time. No one ever offered drinks at the restaurants we at at. They only served water.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
The pools are small and with over 5000 people onboard. They was basically wading pools. The shows were pretty rough. Restaurant food came to the table warm at best. Most food was under cooked or over cooked.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
The shows were pretty rough. The talent was not very talented. The singing was bad. The dancing was good.

Children's Programs

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

Boarding was confusing but it was a nice place.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

1 out of 5
There was really nothing to do, other than looking at old buildings. I would not go back

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

3 out of 5
Ocean world was cool but way overpriced. And only swimming was included for the price. Everything else was extra. Huge rip off

Grand Turk Island

3 out of 5
Margaritaville was the best. It was free to use. You could use the pool, bathrooms and access to the beach.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
I could not wait to get off

I guess cruising isn’t for you. Thank you for your review.

Appreciate your detailed feedback. Sorry you were disappointed. As you and others have mentioned, cruising may not be for you.

I question anyone who claims Margaritaville is the best thing they did on the trip. Also, they're called muster stations, and they're clearly marked. And you can get any drink you want at a restaurant - not just water. Sounds like cruising just isn't for you.

I wouldn’t give up on cruising after one cruise during Christmas, which is generally the most crowded and most expensive time of year to cruise.
