Review summary
The Mardi Gras was a great joy to cruise on, from the entertainment to the food to the ports. I would definitely do this ship again. Next up the Celebration in 2023 and then we’ll see what else later! Enjoy and Happy Cruising!!Embarkation

Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse
This was a ok restaurant, the setting was great for the family meal, the food was just ok especially for the price. I’d try it again for the next cruise to see if my opinion is correct.
Rudi's Seagrill
The food was good and I was expecting more, but it would be doable again I would just need to lower my seafood expectation. I live in the DMV so I’m tainted a little, but will go again
Emeril’s Bistro 1396
This restaurant was the best we had on the cruise. The shrimp and grits were tremendous. Seasoned just right!!!
Swirls
This was my spot! I just wish they had the strawberries flavor the whole time, outside of that it hit the dessert spot!!
Street Eats
This is a quick get spot, it was highly desirable and with great flavor! Definitely a go to!!
Seafood Shack
This was delicious. The shrimp basket was my #1 favorite. I should have grabbed the crab legs but I was sure how seasoned they would be, what can I say I’m from the DMV!!!
La Piazza
The pizza was surprisingly good. They were shaking and baking and handing out pizzas like candy! This was the spot for a quick craving suppressant!!
Guy's Burger Joint
These burgers were super good! It was all that and a bag of chips!
Bonsai Sushi
This was a spot we took in late at night the food was decent and it did the trick, but we’ve had better sushi
BlueIguana Cantina
The burritos are delicious and a winner amongst the family
Big Chicken by Shaq
This was our first restaurant on the trip and it didn’t disappoint!! We enjoyed it! The food was flavorful and fresh

Mardi Gras Casino
This was a first for me, I took it on for a hot second, spent $20 and won $20. It’s not really my thing but I took it in for the experience!!

Mardi Gras Theater
They did the Mardi Gras parade, they gave out needs and handkerchiefs for the feel of being in New Orleans! This was a exciting event to attend!!

The Mardi Gras was a excellent ship to cruise on. It was the newest ship that was available since the Celebration wasn’t released yet thru the COVID time frame, but I would truly recommend this ship because the theme is spot on and it was just exciting the whole time. The cruise Director Kindle Fire was a superb director and entertainer. She is a bolt of energy and it was like that the whole time from start to finish. If you get a opportunity to cruise find out what ship she’ll be on and go she will keep you in the know and entertained.
