The aft and forward elevator banks are less used than the central elevator bank. If in a rush, do not use the central elevator bank.

Enjoy the Mardi Gras BUT realize and understand that you probably WON’T get to do everything during a seven day sailing⚓️⚓️⚓️

Splurge on specialty dining, and don't bother with MDR (disappointing)! I saw a lot of Carnival cruisers that had been on a lot of Carnival ships and one thing a lot said was they didn't like MDR or buffet, but there are a lot of options on this ship. Also...if you have motion sickness and my time dining, the MDR was at the back of ship (my husband didn't feel well after dining here because of motion sickness)

Use that hub app to book your free dining in the evening early, you can even book a few minutes before they open! Lots of people on the ship and it's awesome to be able to walk through the lines and be seated first!

Dont bother paying extra for Havana area. Not the same as on Horizon or Vista or Panorama. No hot tubs and tiniest coldest pool ever

It’s not your same Carnival ship. The layout is different and the ship is much larger. Take advantage of eating dinner at Chibang, Cucina Del Capitano along with your normal dining restaurant at no additional cost. Enjoy the ship and yourself.

Learn the lay out of the ship immediately after boarding as the ship is quite large and you can get lost or not able to get to certain spots you may have wanted to go for not knowing their existence. The other very important advise is: find out the entertainment options for the day and their time. There is a lot going on every day and many overlap. So, you need to make a guide of what you want to see/hear in order to maximize your enjoyment.
