Great to be cruising again but won't go again until Cruises are sans Masks. Just not much fun wearing a mask everywhere to do anything.
Embarkation

This was fine but given a reduced passenger load you'd expect it to be good.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Adequate. They worked hard to get food out and service was good, food kinda average however

Let me start by saying we understand Covid is real and dangerous. We are not anti-faxers and support mandatory vaccination but read this before buying a cruise! 1. Overall, the Mardi Gras is fine but honestly kinda plain. The magnificence announced proceeding this ships launch was false. 1, The Fitness center is WAY TOO SMALL for a ship this size and we had a reduced capacity boat! 2. You need a mask in the fitness room unless you are actually on a machine. They get nasty if you don't. This leads to the big problem. Everyone on this boat was fully vaccinated or you couldn't get on this boat unless you had a Covid test within two days of sailing, yet another expense you can plan on, and in spite of this everyone on this boat was snipped at by the crew constantly to wear a mask everywhere. What kind of insanity is this? NEVER would have signed up for this if I knew everything I did required a mask and required you to fully cover everything. The "Fun" cruise line....how about the "Fanatical" Cruise Line
Entertainment

Definitely 2nd rate with only a couple exceptions. Azeem and Family Feud...both excellent. But again, watching in a crammed room with masks on (except to drink or eat cause somehow that's safe) definitely takes the fun out of things.
Service and Staff

Rooms are only cleaned once a day. 2nd rate compared to other lines we've been on. All that said, automatic tips are of course the standard, what infuriated us was drinks and such had tips added on automatically regardless of service. Unethical and we're big tippers!
Ship Quality

Ship was plain. Everything was clean enough
Cabin / Stateroom

Size was massive as we were in a handicap room (everything else sold out or blocked due to reduced capacity load). Our friends in a regular balcony...very small. Handicap was fine but no sofa.
Probably should have been described as 'difficult' and not moderate. We had no problem with the climb and in fact enjoyed the work out but some dropped out and didn't do the climb due to difficulty.
Didn't go but did go to Nassau. No idea why but again the description was wrong. While we thought the shark dive was magnificent, we were not told we were doing a shark dive. Others in our group were shocked most surfacing saying something along the lines of "holy $h1~ sharks weren't in the description'.
Your main reason for a lower rating is because of mask? Every cruise line is requiring them, they are doing everything possible to not let cruising being stopped again. Unfortunately mask are here for awhile longer, I have to wear them at work so no big deal for me. Happy sailing whenever you get to do it again.
