Embarkation was quick and easy for the most part. We had an early arrival appointment. They flagged me due to my CPAP machine which caused me to be stopped at every check point and be called to guest services once onboard to make sure that I had what I needed for it. But over all we didn't have any problems and were onboard in under an hour. However, my sister and her family had a little later boarding time and things were backed up by that time. They had to wait in line for about 2.5 hours before they could board.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The ship is new. Elevators are smaller than other ships. But there are more of them. Most of the time we didn't have any issues even with my wife using a scooter. We found that the aft and forward elevators are better for people with a scooter (less wait.) The central elevator banks were always busy and they were hard to get one with enough available room to fit a scooter on them (too many people in them already.)
Lido Marketplace
2 out of 5
This has a lot of seating. But the actual buffet is much smaller than other ships and should only be used for very quick service needs. The hours are also odd. They are not open late.
Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse
1 out of 5
This place didn't WOW us. My steak was just OK and my wife's steak was not good. For the money, it really wasn't worth it.
Chibang!
3 out of 5
We ate there for lunch. They misplaced my order. Everyone else at the table had finished their meal by the time I got my food and it was just OK at that point.
Bonsai Teppanyaki
5 out of 5
Great experience. This place has the best steak on the ship.
Onboard Activities

Activities were OK.

Service and Staff

The Fun Staff are very friendly. We liked Gabe and Jennifer.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Some spaces seemed a little on the small side for the size of the ship. But overall it was an easy ship to get around on.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We had an accessible aft-balcony. The front door was automatic open/close with a swipe of the room key or the press of a button (inside.) The door didn't have a lock but that is to be expected with the accessible room.
The cabin was a good size. I could easily turn my wife's scooter around. There were plenty of power outlets and usb plugs around the room.
The bed did have help buttons that could be plugged if needed.
The view from the balcony was great. It is 2 decks above the aft pool area. The balcony's are tiered so you can look down into the balcony below you and the ones above you can look down into your balcony. The balcony door was automatic and just required a touch of a button to open or close.
The bathroom was very large with zero entry to the bathroom and shower. Grab bars were everywhere that you would expected by the toilet and in the shower. The shower did have a fold up bench for seating.
Ship tip
The aft and forward elevator banks are less used than the central elevator bank. If in a rush, do not use the central elevator bank.
Agree with your assessment of the Chibang! restaurant. We were on the Mardi Gras the same week and ate at Chibang!, possibly the same night. It was pure chaos. Thankfully, our server arranged it so that the first and second courses came out at the same time, explaining that there was a backup in the kitchen and we wouldn't have to wait a long time for the main course. It almost seems like maybe the kitchen doesn't have the capacity to service such a large restaurant? Other than that, we loved this ship!
