Breakfast open at 7 too late ⏰ Dinner very bad service

The Carnival Money Grab ( Mardi Gras ) is the newest and biggest ship in carnivals fleet and YET they have managed to turn it into a 3 day small in feel party boat run by obnoxious loud drunk passengers. Now if you want to pay even more then you can separate yourself from all the nonsense and actually find a bit more calm and quiet and Refinement. And this ship makes that abundantly clear. Hence the Carnival Money Grab. Thing is as mentioned this ship is awful. The serenity area is slowing people to overrun it with loud thumping music. Loud drunk obnoxious people. Personal boom boxes Kids running through. You name it. It’s a joke for the most part There’s is many other awful things about this ship. Safety to customer service that it’s not worth sailing on board unless you like “ awful “. Big can be better but not in this ship. Not if you are looking to fine some quiet some refinement some form of space and freedoms you find on other ships.

Disappointed! Glad to be home. I do not recommend this ship. I will not rebook Carnival!

Cruise director Lee is a lot of fun and is refreshing how positive he is and encourages showing compassion to others. Mardi Gras is an overall well laid out ship. Elevators are not the best (can take forever to get one) and could have a few more bathrooms (especially around main dining).

The cruise was enjoyable and relaxing. Beautiful ship in every area. Great staff, especially room steward and dining room team.

We had an awesome time on our cruise. The cruise staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. I love the anytime dining. I can choose what time I go to eat. I wish I went to more of the entertainments. I loved the Military Appreciation Presentation. The Family Feud was so funny. We even got to see a rocket take off while we were leaving the port.

Mardi Gras is an incredible ship. Lee the cruise director will have you laughing and feeling like family in no time. Can’t wait to sail again!

This was only my second cruise. The experience aboard the Mardi Gras was so much better than the Royal Caribbean cruise out of Galveston, Texas they really can't be compared. Everything was so well thought out in the ship design and the crew really treated me well, which did not happen on the Royal Caribbean ship. The shore excursions were well organized and fun. I had a great time, and will be cruising with Carnival again.

I would do the Mardi Gras again if the itinerary changes. I have been to AMber cove and Grand Turk enough. Ship is large with lots to do and has great food and entertainment.

Overall cruise was excellent/fun. Staff on point; however, it seems guests and “nickeled and dimed” more than ever. Things that used to be inclusive is not. -Improve the internet/wifi PLEASE! The cost is RIDICULOUS to purchase for such POOR service/speed. Forget streaming a movie or sporting event. It takes FOREVER for it to load and buffers too much. I would love a refund. Carnival really should be ashamed of themselves for charging for such POOR service. It simply SUCKS! I’m referring to their “Premium” service too. -TV, Movie selection and sporting channels very limited and not the best. There are times when you want to sit in your stateroom, relax, watch a good movie and order room service. Unfortunately, the channels were NOT the best. There were about 8 channels—TCM, HGTV, Discovery, CBS News, and a couple others. The On Demand movie selection was AWFUL and for kids. With the poor internet/WiFi service, you couldn’t stream a movie without it buffering 99 times and taking too long to load. -Sports channels throughout the ship were NOT the best. The NBA playoffs were NOT AN OPTION because Carnival did not have the channel. So, my husband of 37 yrs who is a HUGE, NBA fan damn near lost his mind because he couldn’t watch the games for 7-days and could not get the updates because of the poor internet/WiFi. So, instead he played Candy Crush to calm his nerves!😂. We are still laughing about that. Overall, the cruise was great with the exceptions of the above. We loved it so that we completely forgot to review and purchase our photos (and we took some nice ones this time……my husband actually smiled). Hopefully, they are still available to purchase. Carnival is still our first choice for FUN cruises.

We really enjoyed our cruise on the Mardi Gras. This was our second cruise on her!

Very disappointed with Carnival’s service. They had our money and really didn’t care after that. Disappointed in food for sure. Not just me and I’m a seasoned veteran! Over 30 cruises taken. Not up to pre Covid standards especially being their newest and biggest ship. I will stick to Norweign or Royal Caribbean from now on. I had friends on another Carnival ship at the same time. They had same complaints so it’s across the board problems.

The entire cruise exceeded every expectation. The ship and it's staff were outstanding, the events were top quality entertainment, the destinations provided a most relaxing and enjoyable scenic surrounding, and no problems with anything. Totally, a 10 star vacation!

We had fun but were very disappointed in Carnival for all the reasons mentioned previously.

Amazing and can't wait to sail on the Celebration (Aug '23) and Jubilee (Oct '23)-transatlantic voyage.

Ship was extremely big and wasn’t able to find anything. Was always getting lost on ship.

This was a wonderful cruise. We had a great cabin attendant. She was awesome. I would sail Carnival again. It seems to get better and better each time.
