Review summary

A total nightmare for us from the embarkment, the very expensive extended mini suite where we couldn't get a drop of sun, couldn't take good photos because of the too high partition between balconies, canopy around our deck, and support beam on the right side. Very mediocre food in dining room and Market Place (ex Horizon court). And nothing fancy. Best was the bakery. Reduced menu in the Room Service compare to all the other Princesses.

Embarkation

4 hours in 40oC in Shanghai with ALL our suitcases

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
The Worst food in any of our many Princess cruises. Same food over and over again, mostly meat and seafood overcooked. Not prime meat. Very little meat in the dining room some days only vegetarian.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Too many people for too little space as this ship has many more cabins and the normal spaces like lobby etc have reduced spaces

Entertainment

2 out of 5
Queues far too long

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Very good from all staff but extremely bad from the receptionists. Yet I am an Elite passenger in a extended mini-suite, not enough staff same numbers at reception for 4000 people than other Princess for 1800 passengers. Cannot get answer on the phone from reception as the phone are always on hold yet the phones by design (I have been told by good sources) have no speaker phone and not cordless. Meaning after standing up for ages people hang up the phone.

Cabin / Stateroom

Didn't get a drop of sun because of the design of the ship, extended mini suite half the size of all our other mini suites. Wi fi hardly ever worked. Bed was very good

Ship tip

Don't go. My steward let me see the interior cabin accross the hall from our suite, really scary little hole
