Buy shore excursion with other sources , find out who provide it with the cruise and contact them directly, or wait till you get to the port to see other options. We booked a dolphin swim in Cozumel with local agency at the port and it provide taxi ride , meal and bonus activity.

I would arrive a day early just in case there are issues with flights. The port is 45 miles away from Houston Hobby airport and even further from Bush International airport.

If you book a cabin on Deck 2 be aware you always have to go up to Deck 4 or 5 to go across the ship to the other end as there is no thru access because of the Ice rink is on that level.

Easy access on and off ship. The Elevators were awful, usually took the stairs. Too little and too slow. Also, it seemed that everywhere you turned, someone was asking to sell you something. We were able to take two small bottles of wine on board, which was great.

If you have mobility challenges, get your cabin in the aft section where all the dining venues are located. The Liberty is 3 football fields long which make for quite a hike. Be prepared to see charges for EVERYTHING on the last day. In other words, work out what you are spending in advance.

Don't get off in Falmouth or Grand Cayman. In Falmouth we just went to Margaritaville. Free wifi. Beautiful and close to boat.

Definitely decide what you want to do at each port ahead of time. If there is a tender, they do give preference to disembarkation to those on RC sponsored excursions so it does give you and hour or 2 ore time on land. Also, the excursions do sell out ahead of time.

Choose the cruise without a stop in Jamaica. Or stay on Board. The reason we did not leave the boat on this current cruise was because we were nearly robbed by 5 big men the last time time we docked in Jamaica.

If you have children, you may want to monitor their tv watching. Some things we saw were very racy. Also, overall, ship tv is awful.

I will never get on a boat that just comes out of dry dock again. I think they had too many problems that were not resolved yet. Casino slot tournement could not get people logged in. AC jacked up. Room Svc did not pick up door tickets twice. Hot water turned off one evening.

Definitely plan ahead for excursions. I highly recommend vising the Blue Hole on Jamaica. It's a long, adventurous drive but totally worth it! Also recommend Cozumel Jeep Tours which is a private jeep tour around the island and they will take you anywhere and let you do anything you want. th
