Jansley1234, Too true. Water slides, Costumed Caracters, etc= kids, young and old...like meπŸ˜† Ya'll will have a BLAST!

My family picked this ship and the beginning of summer break hoping to have more kids on the ship. I do understand the whole thing about kids running around all crazy but I have no issue with it as long as the kids are not doing wrong and having fun. After all if you go on a "kid" cruise you should expect to have lots of kids!

@cruising Tim -ty -certainly will -gotta have that caffeine fix 😎

CrusinTim    8 years ago

@mskarla63....Do what we do, fill out the room service card the night before, place it outside on the cabins door handle and you can have your coffee (and many other things) first thing in the morning.

Hey, step one: PRESS YOUR CAPS LOCK KEY! There, that's easier to read your nonsense. Step two: how much brains does it figure out that Celebrity, or Princess, or Holland America are NOT GOING TO BE FILLED WITH KIDS! I'm suggesting your research methods are as flawed as your WRITING!Β

Obviously you didn't do any homework on the cruise you booked.

don't know why many of the cruise lines don't provide a coffee maker in the cabin -I enjoy a large cup 1st thing in morning on -Norwegian Breakaway August 2015 -coffeemaker provided in room -sailing July Anthem -which I am told do not provide coffeemaker in cabin 😞--

No irons allowed, fire hazzard. Coffee maker.? Hmm. That draws a lot of current as well.

youngnana16    8 years ago

@donaldsternberg.....so we can take a coffee maker on board.....i know they confiscated my sisters travel iron getting on in 2014 and kept it the whole trip?

youngnana16    8 years ago

@ Toni29......i agree totally. The kids on our ship would b pushing to get in and out of elevator running over u on deck....i almost spilled a hot cup of coffee on one childs head cause they ran by me so close when i was going to sit down!!

toni29    8 years ago

Some kids are fine. The problem is when there are lots of undisciplined children running around. While there is always going to be children onboard, the amount decreases when schools are in session.

tracydamron    8 years ago

It's a DreamWorks cruise...there will be kids.

And it wasn't around Xmas

I went on Adventure leaving out of San Juan in Dec of 14, and i swear every child in S.J must have been aboard that ship. And excuse me, please and thank u was never heard by any child or their parent untill last day.

Liberty is the only RCCL ship other than the new Harmony to have waterslides and the new children's waterpark. I think children will be a permanent sight. If people want to avoid children they might want to look at some different ships/itineraries .

The last two years we have cruised the second week of December. Both times were awesome. Most kids were not on school break yet.

Never cruise near a holiday.

cruisintexas    8 years ago

Never take a cruise when school is on holiday. Too many parents let their kids run amuck. Do they do the same thing when they are at home? Crazy.

shopnagain    8 years ago

We are doing the exact same thing toni29. I love my kids more than anything but am so looking forward to our time alone sans kids! I hope by next month there won't be a ton of kids running around.

toni29    8 years ago

We also try to plan our cruises around school breaks....never during. We have children of our own, but keep them under control. We take one cruise a year without kids and one with them. Our "without the kids" cruise is coming up next month. I'm so excited!

Take adult cruises

cruisingurl    8 years ago

Agree 100% on the kids! We just got off on April 3 from the Liberty and there were A LOT of kids. Also, it seemed like half of the passengers only spoke Spanish. I found out when we returned that Mexico has a month long Spring Break which explains why even though kids were back in school after Easter here in the States, the kids (and parents) from Mexico were still enjoying their time off.

petersen    8 years ago

Can only agree, we newer do Cruises when shools are on holliday, allways before or after.

carolejonescjj    8 years ago

I completely believe him! Spring break people which means a TON of kids. 1.300 kids is probably conservative . It is why we never sail when school is out or on break.

fdlwisconsin    8 years ago

Not to mention your saying there is as many kids as crew members.

fdlwisconsin    8 years ago

Lol so your trying to say about half the cruisers are kids? I find that hard to believe.
