Met all expectations by gilbenard

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Liberty of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Met all expectations. Wait staff, room attendant casino staff and photo shop staff were excellent, front desk staff very marginal.

Getting back to normal by zepeda

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Liberty of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

It was an ok trip. Things are getting better. This was a ho hum itinerary at best, so I wasn't surprised. Looking forward to better stops and more excursions.

We had a GREAT time. by Coachdunn

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Liberty of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

It was a very good time but it was not at the quality that I expected from Royal Caribbean. It was more along the lines of Carnival, which we had sailed, but at a great price. I don't feel we got our money's worth on the ship.

Awesome by radadiaswapnil

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Liberty of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I would like to give big hands to our room maintenance guy Prasiddha. Not only he is a wonderful person but does his job excellent. I would like to thank the cooking staff with special thanks to Samuel and the serving staff was also excellent on Windjammer. Can't remember all the names but they all were good.

First Time Cruiser Review by Stirton21

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Liberty of the Seas

Overall our cruise was good. I don’t think we will be back to back cruisers, but it was definitely a great experience with a great cruise line. If I go again, I will be getting a midship room and not one towards the front 🤢

Wonder time in the sun by UnicornSparkles

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Liberty of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Overall we had a wonderful cruise. It was so nice to be back on the ship after the two years of Covid. The ship was only a bit over 50% capacity. This was nice when it came time to find a place by the pool on sea days and we didn’t have to wait at elevators. I did miss the energy of a full ship though.

First Galveston Departure by LauraAndJoel

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Liberty of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We specifically booked the Liberty OTS out of Galveston due to our 1) love of Freedom class, 2) family we haven't seen in years living in Houston (and could shuttle us :)), & 3) we had never left out of Galveston and wanted to experience it. Well, that most likely will be our first and last. Travel is less to be desired. With both airports being at least 1 to 1 1/2 hours away, you need to be sure and arrange transportation and it could be costly (coming in the night before, our friends UBER was over $100 due to timing but using ship transfers TO the airport were less than $80 for the both of them). Galveston weather was quite chilly and wet and it seemed we had to sail a good day before we got into warm "tropical" weather. With how weird the weather has been around the country lately, that may have been a fluke. Once we got out of the Gulf, we had warm and sunny weather throughout our cruise. Coming back into the Gulf, the weather was better than when we left so we were able to enjoy the last sea day. We did come back a day early (docked at 5:00 p.m. Saturday vs 6:00 a.m. Sunday) due to a medical emergency but I didn't feel this hindered our cruise at all. We never heard the issue so we hope that everyone received the assistance they needed and are recovering. Sunday when we woke up in port, it was VERY foggy so some say this could have delayed us docking and caused quite an issue for those with early flights. The entertainment wasn't great on this ship. It seemed lacking more in quantity than quality. They shows they did have were great - it was the lack of shows and some poor timing we took a little issue with. The entertainment staff (game show, trivia hosts, etc.) were REALLY GREAT!!! We didn't care too much for the cruise director - seems a little scarce and not as entertaining/energetic as we are used to. Disappointing but by no means impeded our good time! This was the first cruise the guests could choose to be mask less (hallelujah) and the first Sexiest Man & Belly Flop competition. We are so excited to have that old cruise feeling again! Although not so excited about going back to full capacity (we got too used to those huge neighborhoods to ourselves-lol).

Wonderful relaxing cruise by dkw430

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Liberty of the Seas

We came onboard to relax and we did. Our cabin steward Iputu kept our room neat, made up, and sanitized. Our waiters Avishek and Jayson made every meal fun and enjoyable. They found out our likes and provided them at every meal. Consiege Amit Chattopadhyay was very helpful and spoke with us every day to ensure we were not having any problems. AMIT CHATTOPADHYAY assisted us with a speedy departure at the end of our cruise.

Overall a good trip by sunfire1111

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Liberty of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Overall we enjoyed the cruise. The drinks were too expensive. There needed to be more intertainment. Ran out of things to do and was bored the last 2 days. Also don't plan on winning the slots in the casino. They are way too tight.

A fun and relaxing week. by ColeenTangerine

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

Not quite sure what I was expecting cruising during a global health crisis, but Royal Caribbean's protocols made it easy to stay healthy and relax while on vacation.

Great time by Rodthepuglover

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Liberty of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Great to get back to cruising the ship was maybe 40-50% full. All the RC staff were working very hard to make your time on ship the best it could be. RC and the Captain should be proud of this crew.

Great cruise and plenty of relaxation by Mikenbillie

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Liberty of the Seas

Overall, we had a good cruise, maybe a little over 40% capacity on the Liberty. I wasn’t for sure what the weather was going to be like in January at the ports but it turned out sunny and warm at all 3 ports. My wife was looking for some crafts to do during the day but none was offered was the only draw back she had. We will be back cruising again on the Liberty come September
