Review summary

Good activities on the Liberty of the Seas. It fits our family of young adults well.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Pretty smooth, seems to improve all the time. Love that the safety briefing can be done before getting on board.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Good food. Lobster and tenderloin in the main dining room were great. Could make water more available in locations other than the Windjammer, Sorento’s and Cafe Promenade. Getting water from the bars is a hassle for everyone.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Can’t believe they are still doing Saturday Night Fever.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Great staff as always. Guest Services was a hassle getting a Cruise Compass.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
We were in the same hall as pre-COVID and it still smells like mildew. Doesn’t look like much was done to clean and upgrade during the down time.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Typical inside cabin. Love the location for easy access to the promenade, pizza and theaters.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

3 out of 5
It’s Galveston.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Customs facial recognition is super fast but a little creepy. Giving up privacy for convenience.
